Is this happening to you i.e some personal wound involving a relationship is coming up?
Please,tell me about the eclipse? Does it end things?
Does the lunar eclipse end things and the solar eclipse begin things?

We hadn't spoken for over a month and there's a ton of emotion wrapped up in all of this.

The short version is that he made a move to restore emotional balance between us. This is not an intimate relationship. It's family...kind of. Healing has taken place...though the wound is still raw.

Orbs? up to 8 degrees if it involves sun, moon or angles but the closer it is the stronger it will be felt and there's more likely to be an "incident" that triggers action in the appropriate area. (the house it lands in).

I had the same transit during the first solar eclipse.

It resulted in a minor concussion (Uranus = accidents, conjunct Mercury = with the head? ) and emmm... well, a serious lesson I've learned regarding relationships, including the end of one. Or was it? The eclipses have seriously got me confused...
