I'll tell you why ...Many folks come in and post a question with a desire for personal answers often without posting their chart/birth data. Its as if many are attempting to get as much specific personal response as possible while being as stingy as possible with the personal data necessary to answer the question.
I know this is mostly due to an apprehension regarding personal revelation on the world-wide-web. But talking about our lives is already more revealing than a dry piece of birth data that has no value to anyone else for any purposes other than astrology.
[b]Here is what it takes to get an actual intelligent answer to many of these personal chart questions:
1) Birth data as specific as you can reveal it. I know some of you don't have an exact birth time. That's okay. Post what you know, preferably a chart with the birth data still showing.
You can choose to "anonymize" your birth chart in astro.com's extended chart selection -- or simply enter "me" for name. There is no compromise of your privacy if there is no name attached to your birth data!
2) If unable to post a chart image, at least post a listing of planet degree positions. Planets in signs are very general and cannot reliably give any specific information at all.
Important: you do not increase your online security by withholding your birth data. Online security for the safety of your computer can only be achieved by anti-virus software, a firewall program, etc.
There is no internet boogeyman who can work black magic by obtaining random personal birth data. Birth data displayed on images cannot be read by search engines.
About Privacy: its better to have a online name that cannot be associated with you personally if you want to remain anonymous. Have a name different from any other account that you use that could be associated with your face, etc.
I trust this forum. I do not see anyone here abusing others' birth data to do anyone harm. If anyone does experience this, point it out and the moderators will take action.
