Is it normal to call ourselves photogenic?

I am quite photogenic and my sun conj my Venus in Pisces, but I am also good looking in real life (so modest) also I am good with make up and styling same like your friend. IP: Logged |

I was told by othesr many times I am very photogenic with natural look(I never can do makeup myself and I am not fond of it. The only time I had makeup is in 2012 when I went to photo studio to make artistic photos). I have Virgo ASC/Sun/Venus conjuct together in 1st house.IP: Logged |

I always wondered about this too! Im not that photogenic i look better in person i remember i met this girl at a party that i was friends with on iG and she walked up to me and told me i look way better in person lmfaooo i think my aquarius asc and moon make me look a little wierd or off in pics i feel like every person i know with libra asc or sun or moon or libra mars/venus look very nice and are photogenic also those with major venus aspects hmm maybe even taurus as well its just that venusian influence helps in pictures im jelly of all you librans i should have been one too! I was born 3 weeks late :/ hahah all i have is jupiter in libra im a scorpio sun and to be honest i notice a lot of fellow scorpio suns arent that photogenic either i feel like we need to be seen in person to get the full effect IP: Logged |

Sun in Scorpio tightly conjunct Venus and ASC in Scorpio. Mercury and Pluto also conjunct ascendant. I am not photogenic at all, I have to take a million photos to get a decent picture. I am just not natural in front of a camera- hate it and tend to look awkward and not even like myself sometimes! People always tell me how I look so much better in real life and that my photos hardly look like me. IP: Logged |

Most photogenic people have Neptune(images visuals) aspecting the ASCBeautiful photogenic people I've seen usually have a Trine or Conjunction to the ASC IP: Logged |

I have been told too many times throughout my life I am photogenic. I also used to model. I have Neptune as my most elevated planet in my chart. Not sure if that counts?IP: Logged |

People that have very natural, placid almost boring facial expressions are photogenic. And the people that have big expressive facial expressions look better in real life. Practice meditating in front of the camera  IP: Logged |

I'm photogenic in one way but I'm also strange looking in another way. I remember growing up and thinking I looked like an alien or I looked like my brother, I guess I thought he looked like an alien!! Lol I need to tell him that.I think ppl that are unusual looking are typically more photogenic, extremes stand out and "pop" in photos but that does not mean they are beautiful in real life. You raise a good point.
Not all photogenic may not be model looking person. They could be unique in some sense that they are photogenic.Having said this, whatever your take, I think Neptune (glamour?) might be involved?

But the thing is.... even models have taken a million photos to produce one dazzling photo that goes on the cover of a magazine.

I think i look good both in photos and in real life. Of course, if it is not a bad hair day and a-mole-on-my-chin kind of day. But it really depends on a photographer, etc. My Sun and Venus are conjunct in Libra, with Venus sextile my Moon in Leo and trine my Mars in Gemini. IP: Logged |

Seems like a lot of Sun conjunct Venus!!
I have Venus in a grand trine with ASC and Saturn and Neptune is my Sun's ruler, also aspecting my ASC and I am very photogenic. I always have been. I think I am better looking in person, but pictures don't lie I suppose lol

I was in my late 20's before I could acknowledge I was pretty, I didn't realize it before. I didn't wear makeup or style my hair in any way until my mid 20's. I was taught doing those things was vanity and against God! Lol
