We can expand on this.. But..

What do you think is each sign's type of humor?

I've found that at times I find slapstick to be absolutely hilarious. Sometimes it is overdone, and just obnoxious and corny.. But, I've found that if it is done just the right way, I have a hard time not laughing.

The first time I watched Army of Darkness I about died laughing. I'm watching The Evil Dead 2 right now and am laughing like a maniac.(The series seems to get less serious as it progressed) I think part of why I like these movies so much specifically is because it also incorporates dark humor. (Not to mention, the somewhat seemingly purposeful low production in some parts. Whether or not it was truly purposeful is beyond me..)

I've always attributed me finding humor in slapstick to my Sagittarius Moon conjunct Jupiter. For some reason, I always thought of slapstick relating with Sagittarius. Maybe it has to do with my Aquarius-Sun trine.. I don't know.

What sign do you think relates with it?

Like I said.. It(slapstick) has to be done just right for me to find humor in it, but, when it is.. I laugh a lot.

We can talk about all the signs and their sense of humor.. But, that is one question that has been with me for a bit.

I generally don't care for slapstick, yet I very much loved the dark humor of ED2 and AOD. ED2 even had one slapstick element, the amputated hand as it fights Ash, but it was his over the top acting and elements of surprise....when the hand mocks Ash gets caught in a mousetrap and then gives Ash laughing at it the bird, I think it was more the surprise of it (surprise is very humorous to me). The hand getting caught in the mousetrap didn't do anything for me.

There were also the puns, like when Ash captures the amputated, demon-possessed hand in I think a bucket, he puts a stack of books on top, the top book being A Farewell to Arms.

3H Libra sun and stellium is perhaps why I like puns, and 5H Sag stellium (sextile to 3H) is perhaps why I like the silly and surprising. As for dark, I just had to learn to laugh at that, or I'd be crying all the time instead. Maybe my Scorpio Jupiter contributes there, but can't overlook the Pluto in Libra stellium sextile Uranus in Sag stellium, both on the Scorpio cusp.

I don't think I've seen the Evil Dead movies, but I was just thinking about looking up the Ash vs Evil Dead series, online, after a friend recommended it. I need something amusing on.

I love Bill Bryson. The first few pages of his latest book, had my quietly shaking with laughter in the bookstore, so I had to buy it. I also like Richard Digance - a guy from England.

I did like Return of the Living Dead Part 2. Mum and I both liked the head yelling, "get the danged screwdriver out of my head!"

(I really enjoyed the part where he shot the wall, I think in attempt to shoot the hand, and blood starting spewing out of the walls like a fire hydrant from all directions.. Lmao.. I think I tend to like exaggeration.. Especially when it is done in a way that also gives it pun-like characteristics. In this case, giving the wall a human-like trait of it bleeding. Which may have partly been making fun of that one horror movie.. I can't remember the name right now though. Also, I loved the part when he first started fighting with his hand..)

Maybe me finding humor in that kind of exaggeration comes from the aspect mentioned in my first post.

sag merc. I love slapstick humor.

Well I like all sorts of humor. But I tend to really love irony and tall tales accompanied by theatrical/comical/exaggerated gestures, words and facial expressions.

I can't get enough of parodies.

Lol I love the two you mentioned.

I remember howling with laughter while watching Robin Hood - Men in tights by Mel Brooks.

Sarcastic humor kinda tickles me, especially if those sarcastic humors come from Capricorns. I can't help pretend that they are so mean while giggling/laughing.

My sag mars agree. I also tend to laugh at my self if I did something stupid and make a fun/joke about it with my friends, it becomes a great humor to laugh about.

Aqua sun, moon conjunct jupiter in aries.

I'm very easily amused. Not sure what it is in my chart...maybe the Cap sun square Aries Jupiter.

Often when I make my husband laugh, he chokes out YOU'RE CRAZY...You are COMPLETELY CRAZY...when he catches a breath.

Aqua Mercury square Uranus.

Some people don't get that humor (trust me) but his sun is conjunct Uranus and he appreciates how I say things just for shock value.

Awww, yes I remember that!! I was almost dying with laughter, though I still found it a bit disgusting and cheap, but all the funnier therefore. I do tend to sometimes have a bit of juvenile humour I guess.
Though I usually prefer verbal banter with a bit of innuendo, instead of more physical comedy (Mr Bean is just annoying to me for that reason).

Oh and I loved DOGMA. Did anyone see Dogma?

And this one here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7kkVYSbXVc

But I love Nathan Fillian and Neil Patrick Harris, soo....

Well my Mercury is in Sag, my Moon in Aqua, my Sun in Sag, too.
I may be a prude romantically and erotically (Venus in Cap), but I like my humour, well, how do you even call it? lol

Well i dont know really,my mercury is in conjunction with venus in gemini, and my third house is in virgo. I do love good sarcasm and vitty remarks ,bit of dirty humor but not too much.

The movie i recently watched that made cry laughing from it's begining to its end was

It's German comedy movie, and i soooo recomend it , it has twi parts.

What i do not like is when people use humor to hurt feelings of others, thats why i dont like stand up comedians.

Out of all comedians my fave are Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan
Peele - they know how to joke on their own account also.

You say things for shock value? I think you're funny, but for some reason, you never struck me as doing that.

I have Sun opposed Uranus, which aspects almost everything.

My dad, a Taurus Sun/Moon, with Mars conjunct Mercury in Aries, used to put on an Eeyore voice when he went through a drive-through. He would speak normally once we got to the window, but I used to both cringe and crack up when he'd do that.

I don't like it being used to hurt other people's feelings, either. I stopped watching late-night TV, years ago, and I also avoid most comedians.

I've had friends post "bad lip reading" videos, that I keep meaning to watch. I've heard they're hilarious.

Yeah, exactly,i dont like Chealsie Handler type of shows and comedians - i think her humor is mostly based on negative things, and she like bashing people and all those **** jokes just are not funny to me.

On other hand The Colbert Report for example is my type of humor, smart, sarcastic and just funny in honest way.

Good to know all my "shock value" jokes have gone flat with you. (?) :-/

Hehehe no but seriously I say things at home that I would not say here. Also sometimes I get people to laugh by taking a simple U-turn, because I can be boring and pedantic so any departure from that is shocking and I think people laugh as if to say, "Thank God you're aware of how tedious you were just being!"

Also I am usually polite and my husband can get tired of my "be nice to everyone" shtick so he appreciates my little cynical comments.

Like once we were sitting in traffic behind a car with a New Hampshire license plate. It has the state motto on it: "Live free or die." So I said contemptuously, "Live free or die? They won't do either" and just looked out the window like I couldn't care less whether they lived free or died.

That made him laugh mostly because I'm usually more respectful, I was just playing around but very deadpan.

I tend to shock people unintentionally. About a month ago, I was fuming - like PMS on steroids - and I made a friend of mine laugh, because she wasn't used to me being so... I don't know. She told me it was hilarious.
