Moon Oppose Venus in the Natal Chart
In this case, we have the aspect of the Opposition. The Opposition is ALWAYS a see-saw. Picture a see-saw. One person is up and the other person is down. Then, the other person is up and the second is down. It goes on forever thus.
If we wanted to equate it to moods. On one day, she is nice and says hello. On the next, she throws a tomato at you. What happened?
She was on either end of the opposition.
Let’s concentrate on Moon oppose Venus.
The Moon is one’s inner heart. It is the part of oneself that one shows to intimates, children, God and dogs. It is oneself, unmasked.
Venus is one’s love nature. Venus is that which we find attractive in people, clothes, home decor, music and art.
The Venus sign shows what “turns us on” in life. Things that turn on a Gemini Venus in the 9th House(me) are books words, humor and having fun.
Each Venus has it’s own “turn ons.”
Aries Venus may be turned on by a tennis game i.e the competitive spirit.
Taurus Venus may be turned on by a fine meal.
Virgo Venus loves clean smells.
Each Venus is a treasure trove of interesting traits.
Back to the Venus/Moon opposition.
In the Venus/Moon Opposition, the struggle is between the heart and the love nature.
This native may share her heart to such a degree that she is horrified the next day.
On the previous day, one saw a sweet, shy person.
On the next day, one may see a cold, sullen person.
The opposition makes for the up and down movement.
One could call it feast or famine or all or nothing.
Hence, this native may struggle on HOW much to share her heart or HOW much to share her love.
At times, she does too much.
At others, she pulls back and does too little.
This may be very frustrating to her, as well as hard to understand by others.
