I apologize if this has been asked before. I couldn't locate the Search (haven't been around in a while).

Any draconic chart experts out there? I'm curious about fixed star applications in a draconic chart. I have scoured the internet and the little bit of written material I've been able to find about draconic astrology and can see no real mention of fixed stars.

For example, I got curious about this so I chose Mira, which is 7'14" from my Moon (1Tau5'29"), to experiment. In my natal tropical chart it's at 1Tau12'43, according to astro.com. So when I changed the option to Draconic chart, Moon changed to 13Lib38'24" (no surprise there), Mirach to 13Lib45'38". Is it just the way astro.com is set for chart calculation that the fixed star is also subjected to the same formula?

One information source used the fixed stars' tropical positions in aspect to the draconic planets: draconic Moon at 13Lib38" would be conj tropical Algorab at 13Lib08. Astro.com gives Algorab's draconic position as 25Pis41 - which is conj my draconic Pluto at 24Pis30.

Has anyone considered or used fixed stars in interpreting draconic charts?

Thank you very much in advance for any light you can shed on this. There isn't a lot of material out there and

I got an answer - I asked an astrologer pen pal of mine who does draconic charts (I hadn't known she worked with draconic astrology before I asked) and she said that everything moves - when you calculate the draconic chart, the position of the fixed star(s) moves as well. The house will be the same (as in tropical), but just as with the planets, points, etc, the fixed star's position will move relative to the N. Node being moved to the Aries point (Aries 0).

She said that you can also compare the tropical/sidereal positions of the fixed stars to your draconic planets if you'd like, but when drawing up a draconic chart, the star's position would change like everything else.

So I got an answer. Hopefully this moves to reference?
