And it can easily go the other way as well. Often times certain people will be explaining something and I can just have a hard time understanding them and I feel they're misleading me or being super evasive and vague. Or somebody will tell me something and I'm 99% positive I understand what they meant, and then when I go to rehash what they said they tell me almost sarcastically at times that it was wrong. Then I get irritated because I'm only repeating back to them what they said yet I'm made to look like the idiot. This happens a lot with texting. I know with texting that can be a thing, but sometimes it just seems more prominent.

I can also become very confused simply with trying to understand people's motives. I've seemed to have attracted a lot of people in my life whom have been evasive, non-committal, and just plain weird about how they feel towards me and not straightforward and honest. Super annoying, and lots of petty mind-guessing games. It might partly and unconsciously be my fault though, considering that my Neptune is angular and in the 7th house. Either way, not my idea of fun lol.

I think it's why I value honesty so much, because I've received a real lack of it from others so I'm constantly on the look out for truth in partnerships and relationships in general.

Me too! All of it. I have Neptune in the 7th trine Moon and square Sun, Mercury, and Venus. UGH.

I think this guy liked me and thought he was being really clear about it when he TOTALLY wasn't. He had Mercury in Aries like I did but it was square Neptune. He also had Venus square Neptune too. Two Mercury and Venus square Neptunes trying to date is a MESS. Both Aries too

People don't understand what I'm trying to convey even though it makes sense to me. If I slow down and think before I speak and kind of center myself real quick then I come across loud and clear, otherwise most people think I'm a moron in conversation even though I pick up on what they're saying and on big pictures very fast. My ability to retain is also s*it.[/B]

Ugh indeed lol. I don't have any squares to my Neptune, but it is quincunx Mars and conjunct Uranus. And then trine Venus and Jupiter.

Oh boy, I definitely feel your pain! I'm sorry it turned out that way with him. That's happened to me so many times with guys. After awhile it gets hard for me to decipher whether it's me being fooled or it's them simply being disinterested so quickly because of the typical young male behavior (no offense to any on here!).

That is definitely all me too! How exhausting, eh? My ability to retain stuff is quite s****y too. I'm amazing at looking like I'm giving someone my complete attention, but half the time my brain decides it's perfectly okay to wander off into the woods and not come back. And then when they're done talking I have to quickly make sure I remembered what was going on lol. So basically my attention span sucks. I blame the Neptune and Gemini Moon.

I have also noticed that when people switch gears, out of desperation or need to control my mind, I switch right alongside them. It makes me slippery. I can also back myself into a corner, wait for "attack" and just remain calm and when onslaught is over due to other persons sheer exasperation I will just slip away.

I think my high Neptunian energy just makes me confusing in the sense that I'm ridiculously multi-faceted and can basically project any personality trait any time I want to. I'm really in touch with all of the opposites and contradictions in me and I identify with all of them. It's something about me that even confuses me, at times.

But, I've gotten a better handle at this as I've gotten older. I've learned to just make a conscious choice about what energy I want to project, like I'm playing a certain character. That helps keeps me centered and my head clear, instead of getting lost in all of the personalities in me. But, I'm sure it still makes me come off as confusing and complicated, because you can never, ever really pin me down.

I used to get frustrated w people who misunderstood me, turns out I am the confusing one. Just curious, what career path would be perfect for someone who's Neptunian because people at work see I am vague/lost

I have Neptune conj. dsc - square Sun, Mercury conj. MC in Pisces

It might be worth mentioning that my 12th house( all personal planets) st is in Aries--(all trine to Neptune), so it might not be a typical 12th house/Neptune confusion.
Also my Mercury is in Aries so i m very clear in my communication- no confusion there.
