The red pill If you take the red pill you will master every single language in the world. The Blue pill If you take the blue pill, you will master every single musical instrument in the world. This was a question that made me think too long since I am normally a very decisive person but in the end, I think I would go with the Red pill. It took me awhile to decide actually, because I am so drawn to musical instruments and music, due to my mercury-venus exact conjunction, and my neptune trines to mercury and venus, that make music a fabulous escape, however I think my mercury-uranus,merc-saturn is much stronger, although they are at looser orbs. What about you, which pill would you take? What are your mercury and venus aspects OR other planets that you think contribute to the making of your choice? And, yes, you can only take one pill, you can't come back on your decision once made. IP: Logged |

Blue. Because blue is always the correct answer. But in a happy coincidence it matches my pick to your question.I could go on to say that you can move the entire world with a song or how music and math are the two universal languages... but I'll stick with "because it's blue". Aspects? Hmmm. Cancer Venus in 9th trine Asc part of grand water trine with Picses Sat 4th? I do have a voice for singing. Merc conjunct vertex in Gemini and 8th, focus of T square with Vir Ura 10th, Pluto 11th, Picses Sat 4th... I can do the speech thing too... IP: Logged |

Ohhh my gosh, can I have both? I've got a 9h sun/merc/venus with a plethera of sag placements, vertex included, in my 5th house... I love the idea of knowing...well pretty much everything lol. If I absolutely had to pick though... I guess I would choose the red pill bc I could probably finagle my way around the "one or the other" issue by arguing that music is a language all of it's own and it would be required for me to know all dialects (different instruments) of said language IP: Logged |

i would take the red pill i would rather be able to have the ability to speak every language, mercury is sag with an exact sextile to jupiter in libra and a sextile to aqua ascendant i dont have any neptune aspects and i find that funny since i have zero desire to create music lol IP: Logged |

The answer that immediately pops into my head is the red pill. I'd be able to talk to lots of people n understand what they say. My prefered form of communication is definitely verbal. Sag merc conj cap sun/uranus in the 12th, sextile scorp MC. IP: Logged |

Both! Overdose hahaha! It's a very hard decision. Few years earlier I would take the blue pill, but as I grew older I realise that traveling and knowing about other cultures is my medicine. I can't live without traveling, so I go for the red pill!IP: Logged |

Red pill. Mercury trine Neptune, Saturn, moon & opp Pluto Venus square Saturn I'd love to know languages but only so I could live in another country without having to learn it. I'm impatient and don't find languages themselves or even their mastery that exciting. Also I'd find it easier to learn musical instruments & only a few draw me IP: Logged |

Red, because language includes concepts and perspectives that are generally unique to each language group if not language (that is to say things we never think of or even see when right in front of us are blindingly obvious to someone else of a specific language that we don't know--and vice versa). Language isn't just a utilitarian tool, it's the ability to actually perceive things that the mind otherwise could not understand (or at least accurately articulate) or even to conceive, and of course language says a lot about a culture and thus the "software" (and perceptions, thinking, etc) that those born and raised in it get. And that appeals to my Jupiter Scorpio (and other Scorpion elements). If I had fully mastered every language then I could perceive and conceive things that no one else on Earth could. My Libra and Sag stellium would also find full fluency in every language much more useful than universal musical proficiency for what I believe are obvious pragmatic reasons. And Scorpio likes the idea that full mastery enables better disguises and bluffs which can also be useful (particularly in emergencies). I'm perfectly content to enjoy music rather than be a musician. IP: Logged |

So many Red pill takers 9 red pill, and 1 blue pill. Gemini Blues, I guess your cancer venus is a driving force in your chart. You said you have a grand water trine. What is the degree of your venus? I also have uranus in the 10th. I feel reckless very quickly in a job especially if it's a routine job. How do YOU experience a 10th house uranus? IP: Logged |

I have Gemini Sun conj. Gemini Venus squaring Moon in the 3rd house exact. Red pill all the way. I absolutely love to listen to music, and sometimes it's almost a spiritual experience for me. Sun-Venus, Mercury, Mars in 12th and Neptune in 5th. However, I've never really had an urge to play an instrument myself. I'm perfectly happy letting others play the music while I listen. The violin is my favorite instrument, but I can't play it. It is the only one I could ever see myself putting forth the effort and time to learn. Languages though, I'd love to learn how to read, write, and speak every language in the history of mankind. Language fascinates me. Studying the etymology of words and the origins of phrases and idioms is one of my favorite hobbies. Yeah, I'm an old school nerd. IP: Logged |

Blue. There, I said it! I have a natural affinity towards languages, so it wouldn't be too hard for me to learn a new one - any language, for that matter. Aries Mercury conj Mars in the 3rd is a very fast learner! They're both opp Saturn and I can be a bit of a grammar nazi sometimes I like rules and regulations, what can I say? But music soothes my soul and I was never too skilled at it, it's something I need to improve about myself. I used to play piano and wanted to take some lessons again since forever! Unaspected singleton Venus (says a lot), IN the 3rd Mercury trine Neptune Ruler of 3rd (Mars) trine Neptune Moon conj Neptune exact Aries Mars (for a nice rhythm ) in the 3rd. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~

The blue pill, no doubt. If I could master the violin, piano and guitar I could make my own band, and that would be soo awesome! To be able to play any song I wanted, and make my own songs out of the "blue", that would be so wonderful and brilliant…. My libra mercury in 4th house square jupiter, saturn and neptune doesn't care about learning a language so much… my scorpio venus in 5th house sextile neptune, saturn and uranus, trine jupiter, bi-quintile moon and conjunction pluto in 5th house needs a creative outlet IP: Logged |

Blue because I like it better than red. But if I had to choose between the abilities of the pill, I'd be very confused. I love the arts, but I'm also interested in other cultures. But then again, my music teacher always said that music is a universal language. So that would totally make sense if I pick it.- Mercury conjunct Venus in the 3rd house - Pisces MC - Mars in Libra in the 5th house - Moon in the 1st house sextile both Mercury and Venus - Leo Sun in the 2nd house - Leo ruling the 3rd house - Mars square Neptune IP: Logged |

That's a good point about music being the universal language. I like that. Maybe we can just come up with a Purple Pill. I've got a Libra IC. Deep down, I just want to make everyone happy.

I absolutely adore everything that has to do with music, and even have some gifts on that area myself, but I'd go with the Red Pill. I love everything foreign & learning new languages and I think in practical terms, it would be much more useful to me.My Mercury is in Aries in the 4th house. It sextiles Saturn and squares Uranus/Neptune. I have 3 planets in the 3rd house: Saturn, Mars and Venus (exalted in Pisces and exactly on the fixed star Fomalhaut). The 3rd house ruler is Saturn itself, which is dignified in Aquarius. I have 2 planets in the 9th house: Moon and Jupiter (conjunct) in Virgo. Plus I'm a Saggie rising! My chart is very "Jupiter-influenced". IP: Logged |

I hate this question HMMMM *drums* OK, blue. Music is food for my soul and I secretly dream of being a music producer (shhh). It would be wonderful to be able to incorporate any instrument that exists into my music and not have to rely on computer software or musicians (I'd love to have total control over the process or at least this option). Or to be a dream catch for bands looking for a new member. Or to be able to grab and play any instrument in a social situation and entertain others. The idea of being a one-(wo)man orchestra appeals to me a lot.Mercury sextile Moon Venus in the 5th house conjunct Saturn (the house ruler) and NN, trine Mars, square Moon Sun conjunct Neptune in the 5th house Libra Moon in the 2nd and Taurus Mars? (since they're Venusian...) *Sagittarius Mercury weeps* ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.

Screw language. It doesn't help to be able to speak the many languages of the world. Even people who speak the same language are killing each other. But music? Oh music. Music unites us all-different cultures, different backgrounds, different age groups. Speak in my language, and you will touch my heart. Play the music I love, and you will touch my soul. Definitely Blue.

Take the blue pill...and then wake up on a Cancun beach playing a Ukulele with one of those cocktails with the little straw hat in it...then be swept off into the ocean. Not a bad way to go, just hope I can still play that Ukulele underwater, in an octopuses garden in the shade.IP: Logged |
