Hi Kannon,I would like to ask you a question if that's okay.

This \/ question seems so simple but I did notice that people still having some conflict when that is the subject.

Which one is more "jupiterian"?

A has sun in sagittarius

B has a stellium in 9th house

C has hard jupiter aspects to the luminaries.

What about jupiter in 1st house? It gives jupiter traits to the person?

I mean, I'm not Kannon or anything, but I'll give it a shot.

Most to least "Jupiterian"

Stellium in the 9th > Hard Jupiter aspects to luminaries > Sun in Sagittarius

As always, we really need more information as it really depends what planets are in the stellium and what house the sun in Sagittarius is in. I think the most "Jupiterian" person would have Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 9th. In that case, Jupiter is in its own sign and domicile which means a lot more to me than other planets in its signs or domicile. The closest thing to that of these options would be the stellium (With an off chance that one of them is Jupiter).

The deeper you get into astrology the more you realize how unimportant the signs themselves are. It's really about their positions, rulerships, aspects, and houses.

Hi,themusician00.
Thanks

I saw a very similar question on the country where I live,it was a very deep discussion about it however it seems that for many people the sign still matter the most and I also found some old threads here where people think the same.

Do you count squares too?Or just conjunctions and oppositions?

Most likely "C - hard aspects by Jupiter to luminaries," but I can't answer with such a simple summary because we're talking about how Jupiterian a person is, not a chart. So that means a soul, not a birth chart. So I'd also be looking in the declinations before I came to such a conclusion.

Given no other birth chart factors to change, it the Sun in Sagittarius person is generally more Jupiterian than the person with a 9th house stellium (in another sign). I have a 9th house stellium and I'm not really Jupiterian at all. My wife is -- far more than me and she has Jupiter parallel her Asc and Moon in nirayana zodiac (Vedic/sidereal) decan of Jupiter.

A person with Jupiter in the 1st house of an accurate chart may have it parallel the Asc, but I've seen very Jupiterian people with it in the 6th house where it was contra-parallel the Asc.

You have to look at the whole chart, which means always including the declinations. You can even overlook all this and look just at the nirayana zodiac (Vedic, sidereal) to see where their Moon position falls. If in the decan of Jupiter (Sagittarius), that person can be as Jupiterian as anyone you'll find. Example: Mohandas Gandhi (lawyer). That indicates accumulated soul development of Jupiterian qualities, which means a lot more than anything we can name in the birth chart. Gandhi had Moon/Leo square Jupiter/Taurus and parallel it in declination. He also had Moon in nirayana zodiac decan of Jupiter. Strongly Jupiterian persons like Edgar Cayce or Mohandas Gandhi think big in group terms and set goals based on group interests -- large groups, even nations or global groups.

We do often think of Jupiterian in terms of the Jovial, but that is only part of it. Look for the largess. You can pretty much spot a very Jupiterian person by the largess -- largeness of body/persona/influence and reach. They tend to be ministers, doctors, lawyers, leaders, high level teachers, philosophers, etc, that influence the social world of ideas and ideals.

Thanks for asking. Hope that helps.

If~ I did not have a 9th H Stellium or, a first H Jupiter...
I would still find this a great answer.

The chart as a whole rules. And declinations are often the key.
