...and your sun sign! I'm a Cap. I loooove German Shepherds for both their appearance and temperament. My future doggie I find solid black coat particularly beautiful.
Which breed do you love most?

I can't pick just one! so I'm editing ~ ^^; These are my favourites - (though it will take 2 posts to fit them) -sorry- Separated by size (though I really don't like so many small/toy breeds... (mostly I like large herding/sport breeds)(my in-laws currently have a female Rott, Lexus, and a tiny, male, mop, I mean mutt, they call "whimpy" ... no no... Rocky...) sorry~ =X lol (they are said to "belong to the children" since we all lived together at the time, and the older nephew named the mop, I mean mutt.,.. lol ~ he's annoying, the dog... not the kid.. hahaha it's a pom-chihuahua mix or something like that...) & u know I kid, I spoil the crap out of both those dogs, when everyone isn't looking... XD SMALL: Beagle x Dachshund Mix - note: my ex and I had one that looked just like this one... (I miss Cheyenne everyday, and hated leaving her and our other dog and animals 1 thousand times more than leaving him... she didn't live long afterwards. And, our iguana died shortly after as well... Probably the rats next, and our remaining snake... I don't want to know what happened to our other dog then... it's too hard to imagine...)/sigh Cardigan Welsh Corgi (puppy) - note: before we had our son, husband and I were going to adopt one of these from the local shelter, unfortunately another couple had claimed him just before we got there. >.< Scottish Terrier (with puppy) - note: I wonder if I'd name it "Agent 007" or "Henry (Hank) Jones Senior" lmfao Bichon Frise (puppy) - note: I tried to convince everyone here to adopt one of these - but, the guys just weren't having it... said it was a "frou-frou" dog.... whatever.. Oo; don't they look like fluffy lil clouds that you'd see Precious Moments cherubim sleep on?! lol Yorkie x Papillon (puppies) - note: I definitely wouldn't mind one or two of these adorable mutants running around, bitin' at my ankles... lol ~ wouldn't the names Anteros and Psyche be perfect? lol (butterfly-connection plus astro! haha) --- end of small breeds -- how about a modest sized one ~?! I love these buggers! SOSOSOSO much!!! but husband thinks they're ugly.... >.<; Shar Pei (pups) SIXTH - Aquarius/Pisces (Uranus cnj Venus : Neptune cnj Jupiter & Mercury - bQ Moon in Taurus in the NINTH - ALL in Sagittarius FOURTH house, Cancer in the 11th) - so in other words, my pets are my bestest friends, and very much a part of my family, and I'm deeply motivated and inspired on a deeply emotional level by their company! <3 IP: Logged |

i love alll dogs. can't pick a favorite , of course im a Libra wait, i changed my mind. i realize i do have a fav. its the alaskan malamute. which was the very first dog i owned. i'm dying to get another one, but they are not so easy to care for. especially for a person with my schedule. they will destroy your house out of boredom if left unattended lol (that happened)...

I'm a Capricorn..i tend to love dogs that look like wolves...so, german shepherds, huskies, malamutes, etc..but i also really like the hounds. we had a beagle and i adored him and his floppy ears (RIP Barney <3 )but i really love mutts..my roommates had a puppy who was a boxer/beagle/golden lab/st. bernard mix..he was SO F'ING CUTE, he has since passed (RIP Alo) but i think about him every time i think of a dog that i want. he was adorable with big bear paws and the sweetest, most relaxed attitude... Some pics of Alo, when he got bigger you could definitely start seeing the St. Bernard..he got huge, FAST! (he saw himself in the webcam and started barking at the computer lol) IP: Logged |

I like all dogs, I guess, but, I prefer dogs that are cute. The golden retriever came to mind as I read the name of this thread. I am a cancer sun in the 4th house. Fourth house is gemini. My 6th house is Leo, but that house is totally empty.IP: Logged |

Pisces Sun, Taurus MoonIt's german shepherds all the way for me. We are currently waiting for our breeders puppies to be born on Feb 15th. Eight weeks after that date we should have our own GSD puppy. I think she will make a fantastic addition to my family, my children are at an age where they need to know what it is to care for another living creature. I am equally nervous and excited. She's going to be my running companion ------------------ Lion~Bull~Fish IP: Logged |

Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Georgian shepsherd/mountain dogs. There are 2 versions of it: long haired & short. We always had short haired ones. The other one is giant as you see them in pics Loyal only to one family/owner & not for everyone( you must know how to raise them and they must have space). Strong character/fearless & loyal. I adore the same in women hahah. Is not this strange? :P Sun Pisces Scorp Moon Aqua risingµ Atm we have 1 shepherd 3 pugs + 2 rottweiler. I love Golden retrievers!!! My family had one when I was younger and he was so sweet and snuggly, so kind and so much fun. If I sat on the floor he would flop his big self right down in my lap like he was a little pug or something. He was a Virgo doggie (Sept. 1)...That sweet widdle face! Looks so much like mine: I think that when I am completely on my feet I am going to get an English Bulldog. They are great for apartment living and I don't work too far from where I live now so it'll be good. Aww, wook at da pup-ups! What I want for when I get my farm (7-10 years) are Leonbergers, them along with Goldens. Here is a little somthing about them: quote: The Leonberger is a giant dog breed. The breed's name derives from the city of Leonberg in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. According to legend, the Leonberger was ostensibly bred as a 'symbolic dog' that would mimic the lion in the town crest. It is in the Working Group for dog shows such as Crufts, but not at the World Dog Show.

I'm not into dogs but I think huskies are breathtakingly beautiful. I think cats are far more beautiful but huskies are the only dog I'm captivated by. The icy eyes can be so haunting. Also the puppies are just too cute! IP: Logged |

sand - yes, he died in July he was only about 6 months old. my roommates were foolish for getting him because they didn't have the patience for puppy-training so i was the one caring for him..but then i moved in with my aunt across country, and she wouldn't let me bring him...so i gave him to two girls i know who live on a farm and LOVE animals. they adored him, he was their best dog, but one day he was out running down the country road in front of their house, chasing a truck, and the truck hit him.. when i found out, i was devastated! still am. i literally screamed and bawled and threw a HUGE fit. poor little guy.. I have always wanted to get a Rhodesian Ridgeback. And I will! Up until last year I had a Golden Retriever and a Chow/Pit Bull mix. Mix was put down late early 2011 adn Golden, August 2012. Not entirely sure I can actually deal with those emotions again. Damn that was hard!!! It's not like with a guy where I can say: " whatever! He was a darn idiot anyway! Good riddance he's gone!!" It's an animal that whatever you do will always adore you, and never leave you, and always wait for you, probably even in Dog Heaven. IP: Logged |
