How would you interpret Jupiter and Saturn in the same house? Would that person have easier or harder time in that house's activities?

Jupiter/Saturn is controlled expansion. Very much like Venus/Saturn i.e controlled passions

When functioning in the same house say for instance the 2nd house, one negates the other i.e Jupiter for instance gives you 60 000. Saturn comes along and says "oh,but you owe 35 000 in terms of tax" etc. So you end up getting 25 000 or something.

But even if you owe nothing. Your Saturn psyche will want to stretch the received amount out as much as it can.

So Jupiter still gives you 60 000, then your Saturn psyche says "Things will not always be so good all the time. Let me save 35 000". And so you are left with 25 000.

Thanks for saying that. I kind of see what you are saying. It's kind of like, you will get the abundant qualities of the Jupiter in that house but eventually Saturn will tell you to slow down and be more weary of how much you got? Like make sure no nasty things slithered in when you left your door wide open for all the good things to come in?

I am always confused how to interpret this, when they share the same house. I have it natally and seen some others with it and I have never know how to interpret it properly because they seem to have very opposing energies, they just lack in similarities.

i have them in a close conjunction, in the same house.
Saturn wants to secure everything and Jupiter will give the opportunity for abundance, but Saturn will constrict it..also from a moral stand point- it means a solid, stable person, with high ideals and morals..something to be proud of..
not sure what house your planets are in though, so cant say more..

Excellent way of putting things. But rather look at Saturn as more admin centred and concerned with details.

Jupiter envisions the joie de vivre of throwing a huge party. They already have it in their mind's eye; the atmosphere, the people, the music etc. All mashing into one big happiness orgy.

Saturn is how the party REALLY was. In that, How many people showed up? What music actually played? The budget constraint? What glitches were encountered? Whether it rained? How much it cost? What damage was incurred or who should be paid for cleaning up? etc.

Contrary to popular belief,I think it is Saturn(particularly in Libra orAqua) not Jupiter who may be into hosting parties and do's.

Saturn tends to learn the right ingredients of throwing events and be good at planning what needs to be done etc. Wedding planners, party hosts etc. Are all(in my opinion) ruled by Saturn.

Saturn is not likely to enjoy the party for the sake of it just being a party however, as they will be looking at it more like a business transaction or something with a tangible purpose behind it i.e How do I make money out of this? Or How do I perfect this?

I know a Saturn in Gemini conjunct Asc who MC's corporate events. Whilst anothe. Jupiter in Gemini(unknown Asc) has 4 degrees. She is not much of a socialite really.

So Saturn is looking at the little details to make it a great party and Jupiter is just looking at the big picture because they want the party and nothing else? How do you think this would apply for the 11th house? Divide and conquer group activities?

I think Saturn would be the designated driver. Even though it was Jupiter's idea to go out

The Jupiter/Saturn mix guarantees that being footloose is accompanied by sobriety.

If you have Saturn in 11th, you take in the paternal role in friendships. Your friends will not run to you when they are contemplating doing something "frisky".

You are seen as a little judgemental and upright(Sun here also gets that reputation with friends). So they may not tell you stuff that they get up to for fear of reprimand.

But they will call you when they are in a bind and need help getting out of it. When strapped for cash or looking to be bailed out somewhere. Guess who they call?

If you are bored of this role. Associate with those who are older, then you can be the " young" one. And then enjoy the benefits of that.

But this also may have a downside in that they(older friends) may at times patronize you or act like your parent.
