I feel really lost and confused on which career path I should take. I don't want to be living on minimum wage my whole life, but I feel no sense of direction at the moment. I already have Pisces MC and this Neptune conjunct MC transit is not helping.

I am going through my apprenticeship right now and have decided to go through it until my boyfriend is done school. But what I want to do after, I'm not sure. I definitely want to go back to school but I don't know what to take. I have looked through a list of programs from colleges in my province but nothing sounds fulfilling to me. I don't just want to work for the money either.

I have thought about doing veterinary medicine, however, it takes so long. I don't even know if I want to spend time on it.

If anyone can take a look at my chart, I would love to hear your suggestions. Because at this point, I am lost and I feel it in my heart that the beauty industry is just not for me.

Thank you for any input.

Huh!!! As a fellow Gemini rising, I know how you’re feeling. I’m too old to be feeling this way! 😆

I too was discouraged by the time investment required to get the credentials I needed. One thing I learned on my career path is that people don’t have a good understanding of their preferences. We have so many factors influencing our decisions and many times, not enough reliable experiences and information to make an informed choice. We rely on our pasts, our families, or strangers on an astrology forum to help us gain perspective. We have society and pop culture enforcing all these ideas of happiness and success... many of these ideas or concepts are bad for the soul!! Lol

I’ve been trying to understand my chart too. Over the past few years, we’ve had a few tough mutable crosses and t-squares by transit.

Today, I did research on the mutable cross. I thought this was a good article: http://www.llewellyn.com/journal/article/2538

These transits are very much about us... our philosophies, the information we take in and give importance to, the people we allow to influence us, the beliefs we grew up with and the place in the world we’re in because of it. In order to understand what happening with your 10th house, I think you have to reconcile the mutable energies in your chart, especially with that NN on your IC in Virgo.

I kinda see you as the queen of wands, a trailblazer. I will explain:

With a first house moon and NN (and in Virgo) on your IC, I think you have to trust your instincts no matter how counterintuitive they may appear - build new foundations. For yourself? Society? Your community?

You have the sun and moon in domicile signs. I think these are really important factors in your horoscope (making you a trailblazer). I feel like you have to be in some role of leadership. Your sun is fixed and dignified. Your moon is cardinal and empathetic. Among many positive things, that’s drive and perseverance, and the potential for balanced leadership.

Your 6th house rulers are in sag and Libra, law and politics. You have a 9th house Jupiter in the sign of progress. Saturn at the apex of that kite... (I think that end is the apex! Lol), in your 11th, Neptune is in Capricorn...

I feel like you should study politics. Be a public servant of some sort. Find a cause you’re willing to fight for, an area in life you’d like to see improved or transformed. Idk what you’re like in person, but here, you are charismatic, smart, mature beyond your years, discriminating, and poised.

That is so Leo...Most of the Leo Females I've encountered are either Biology, Psychology or Geology majors.

Heres my take..peruse what your good at and be the best at it, your a leo I know you can do that.

As long as your within the top 10% in your field someone will pick you up. Whether it be English literature or Art.

Never mind the people that say all "artists are starving artists", that applies to everyone but the top 10% in the class.

Why do I say that? I take equivalent courses in Engineering or Geology (FYI- I encounter lots of Leo's they really like rocks) as a visiting student at many universities. Yes, they allow you to take your equivalent courses at different universities.

I've seen some unimpressive or overly rigid Software Engineering students. Yet they figure that because the labor statistics are good for this profession they continue without considering if there even good at it.

I don't even consider myself that great just average. I'm just good at spoting what might come next and try to jump on it now..or plan to learn it quickly. But that becomes harder with age as you get more life priorities.

But if your natural good at something stick with it and be the best you can and go as far as you can, they always need experts for certain professions not the average person in that profesion.

My sister is also a Gemini Rising, she works for the labor board. She seams to love her job. She's had a couple good cases.

Ironically we ended up working in same department..just different teams I was in the IT team and I didn't really enjoy it. The words IT, Innovation and government do not match well unless your in the military branch of government.

I suggest going into radiology....become an ultrasound and MRI rad tech. The pay is good, you are helping others without getting your hands dirty like a nurse and the schooling is short (2 years at a community college rad tech program).

Well, you might be surprised...Pisces people (referring to your MC) I know do well at maths, in accountancy, in counselling, in therapy, in arts. But that is just me saying, how do I know?

Go with the flow is the best idea. Your mind/Self will know what you need soon enough (this comes from a very arty sensitive Aries/Pisces/Gemini/Virgo type with Part of Fortune in Leo).

I looked at your MC ruler Neptune, it's retrograde.
Your progressed Neptune will go direct when you're around 70 years old.
That's a long wait for something to happen careerwise.

Your progressed MC will conjunct your natal Saturn in your early thirties.
Saturn rules your eighth house and is in the sign of Aries, H11.

You would have to synthesize the meaning of the planets, the signs, houses and the rulers to predict what kind of job it could be.

One possibility could be that you start a carer as a profiler (H8 ruler) in a governmental (Saturn) or military (Aries) organization (H11).

This is just one example but this is how I would go about this matter.

Your MC is in Pisces and your MC ruler is in H8. This points to a career in seclusion.

Your Ascendant is in Gemini and your Asc ruler is in Virgo which points to analytical abilities. How about becoming a data analyst?

Either way, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
