To make you understand the meaning of love? I’m guessing that I would need to have someone’s Saturn on my Venus to really learn this kind of lesson?IP: Logged |

Are you referring strictly to synastry? I'm not sure what was responsible. It could have been my Saturn on his Moon or the grand trine of that Saturn/Moon conjunction with both our Venuses. We also had Juno opp Juno, Asc conjunct Asc, his Venus/Merc on my Asc.I really think it was that Moon/Saturn connection. Saturn to teach and Moon for the purest kind of love. Venus love might be too physical/material to teach "the meaning of love" even when in contact with Saturn. IP: Logged |

Yes in synastry I just figured it would be Venus/Saturn. Since Venus is love but I get that the Moon would be pure love. Would it only be the conjunction though? What about the sextile? How does Saturn teach the Moon person about love though?

Well, Im sure it changes relationship to relationship, but in my situation I think Saturn (me) was teaching the Moon (him) about dedication and longevity, even in the face of adversities. I have known this man a very long time and have loved him the whole time. No matter what he does there is always forgiveness in me for him (eventually ) because the love is more important than the anger could ever be. I think the lesson for him is that love lasts. He was always running from real, lasting relationships. Everything was temporary when it came to women, even if they were his girlfriend. I was a hard pill for him to swallow at first because he couldn't push me away or make me hate him, and he tried at times. But it was because he was afraid any woman would end up leaving eventually, so he controlled it how he could. When he realized I wasn't going anywhere, our relationship was beautiful. I don't think the conjunction is the only viable aspect for this, in fact the trine or sextile would probably be more desirable because they are more harmonious aspects. Yes the conjunctionis powerful, but it's like having someone in your face all the time. The Moon can have a tough time with Saturn being too stuffy or too controlling with the conjunction, but if the Saturn person can learn to let go and let live (not easy!), this connection is beautiful and lifelong. The trine and sextile being harmonious would probably have an easier time getting to that point, it may just not be felt as prominently. The square, I imagine, would create a situation where Saturn is nearly incapable of that let go let live attitude towards the Moon person. IP: Logged |
