Topic: I need some info on the upcoming solar eclipse conjunct my north node

The upcoming Christmas eclipse at 4 Capricorn 09 is so close to being right on top of my Capricorn North Node at 3 Capricorn 05. My 7th house is Capricorn. The last solar eclipse in Cancer in July was a b*tch for me. Three or four days before the solar eclipse I was broken up with by someone who oddly enough had that Cancer solar eclipse opposite his Capricorn sun. Now with this upcoming solar eclipse in Capricorn I am terrified that I will have another drama occur. I am single right now and would love to have this solar eclipse bring in a lasting romance, but I'm not holding my breath. Should I be worried. This solar eclipse will also trine my 2 Taurus Sun, my 4 Virgo Jupiter and will activate my natal Grand Earth Trine between my 2 Taurus sun in my 11th house, 4 Virgo Jupiter in my 3rd house and my 3 Capricorn North Node in my 7th.IP: Logged |

In The Eagle and the Lark, Bernadette Brady hypothesises that the theme of these two eclipse "families" are :-2nd July 2019 ... "either news involving young people, or news that transforms a situation" ... (which) ... "can cause the person to become obsessive." 26th December 2019 ... "sudden endings of a relationship, possibly with a younger person. There is a large emotional component, and a sense of traumatic transformation. this can be through news received or short journeys undertaken." Thus ... the potential effects of these two eclipses are quite different ... So, to get a feel for what might happen in December 2019, you need to look at what did happen when that eclipse last occurred (on 14th December 2001 - at 22Sag56)*
[* Since you were only 8 years old during this lead up to Christmas (and experiencing this eclipse family for the first time), any psychological trauma created by the related events will probably involve your father and have been suppressed at the time ... If so, this will reside in the subconscious memory-bank, from where it will re-emerge when activated by the December 2019 eclipse .]

I was actually just looking at the saros series for this eclipse just last night! In 2001 I was 9, so yes, not much had happened, however, my mom was diagnosed with and successfully overcame breast cancer in summer 2001. Nothing else significant happened in 2001 for me personally. I wasn’t personally affected by the 9/11 attacks or anything else. I didn’t lose any friends or family members or have any drama with my dad (parents have been together for almost 31 years now). I actually have no planets at 22 degrees of any sign and no planets in Gemini or Sagittarius. IP: Logged |

But ... why is the christmastime period highlighted frequently by progressions and transits to your natal chart? ... (My guess is that an unpleasant event occurred at one childhood christmas - and the related psychological trauma got suppressed in the subconscious, to be dealt with when the adult you "is ready" to review/confront it again.)

Ah ... I missed the 9/11 connection to Thanksgiving and Christmas 2001** ... which (I suspect) was a time when most USA parents/adults would have been "giving off vibes of fear/insecurity" that children would inevitably have "picked up".So ... if an 8/9 year old girl experienced fear/insecurity for the first time in her life ... would she not look to her father for protection, and would relationships with father-figures not become a significant feature in her life?
