SO, i've read that Saturn Return Chart (usually the latest Saturn passage on itself) could point to your new "me" principles after our beloved Chronos visit. Anyone here have experience with this kind of chart, what should one looks in it? What's the important stuff?

In my Saturn Return Chart my Sun is tighly conjunct Saturn! Am i lost? I ask this because my Saturn Return resulted in a motorcycle accident that left me for 4 months without walking (after a surgery and many bones broken).

The Sat. Return Chart MC is conjuct my natal Moon, and ASC conjunct my natal MC as well. Moon conjunct my natal North Node.

Thanks, hypatia238

it was in 2016, i'm fully recovered now, only with some scars and titanium bolts inside me hehe. Actually, by Saturn exact conjuction i was walking again.

I never expected my Saturn Return to manifest in such physical way. Maybe coz it triggered some of my planets in House 6 from 12th? My natal SAturn is close to my Ascendant and opposing my natal Moon as well.

Please also post your natal chart ... which (perhaps) has a retrograde Saturn?

What aspects does your natal Saturn make? You want to have positive aspects because I think the Saturn return affects the next 30 years of yuor life which is a long time. Its an interesting chart. My Saturn return chart had Sun trine Moon so that's good to see. Look for the aspects in the Saturn return chart as well.

Perhaps the best way forward now is to stick here to your general question about using the Saturn Return Chart as an indicator of the nest 30 years ... And to look specifically at your own charts on a new thread in the personal forum.

I do have experience with Saturn Return Charts, and - as athenegoddess stated earlier - these have an influence on the chart owner for some 30 years.

Think of yourself as living to the age of 84 ... thus experiencing 83 Solar Returns, 2 Saturn returns and 1 Uranus Return - all of which are mapping/"timing" the (ideal) unfolding of the potential in the Natal Chart. ... None of us will achieve that ideal - but the charts provide us with a pattern which reveals "where we are coming from" (Natal Chart) and "where we are aiming/intending to go to" (Uranus Return) in our current lifetime.

And, of course, an 84-year old will also experience 7 Jupiter Returns; 40+ Mars Returns; 83+ Venus Returns; 83+ Mercury Returns and more than 1000 Moon/Lunar Returns. ... Yet, despite the existence of all these signposts/milestones, most people will experience the life events created by these cycles as "a series of unconnected dots" rather than as patterns of unfoldment that were programmed at birth (via the natal chart).

How so? Care to link us to what you've read or to give us the title of the text?

I think you're getting tangled up in your own syntax by saying your Saturn return resulted in a motorcycle accident. This presumptuously frames a causal relationship between a single astrological factor (transit of Saturn exactly conjunct natal Saturn) and the accident. This gets further reinforced by not showing a transits chart for the time/date of the accident.

I can tell you that with your natal Sun's declination at 21N29, both Saturn [21S39] & Pluto [21S24] were closely contra-parallel it on the date of your exact Saturn return. But it is more important where they were on the date of the accident. Perhaps just as important during that period was Saturn's return to its natal place opposite your natal Moon. So with stressful transits by Saturn to the natal luminaries and by Pluto to natal Sun there is the potential for an experience of a kind of physical/emotional reset due to energies reaching a climax that informs you of your limits. Saturn oppositions, especially to luminaries, deal in reasonable limits to balanced expressions of our identities, especially in the outer world and as mediated by others (opposition is relational dynamic).

Even more so given Uranus was conjunct natal Jupiter, indicating a liberating of adventurous expansive energies (with natal Jupiter in Aries can be quite a lot), and Jupiter transited opposite them/natal Jupiter, which indicates expansive energies at zenith. These Saturn and Jupiter related transits set up the distinct possibility of such an accident around this time even if there had been no Saturn return.

I'm emphasizing that a qualitative understanding of even major key transits -- especially when declinations are included -- is better than further-reaching theoretical suppositions that could too easily be taken as a reductionist replacement for careful examination of key transiting factors to the natal.

Kannon,

really interesting post, i agree with you. I claimed it due to Saturn Return because it was the most striking event of Saturn Return year for me.

But yes, there were other several activations in my natal chart, the most "in the face" in my view was the Progressed SUN applying conjuction to Natal MARS - the exact conjunction occurred 3 months after the accident (the orb was less than 20').

The accident was in june and actual SAT return was in december. I can post accident chart in Personal Readings thread i created if you like so we don't derail this forum. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum11/HTML/025803.html
