Say you have Taurus Mars in 10th house for a woman, would you be attracted to Capricorn’s as well? A man with Leo Venus in 4th, Cancers?

I have mars in 12th in cancer

I have never been attracted to Pisces men (only had one pisces bf)

Cancer men on the other hand, I find them super hot, especially the first decan suns who are conjunct my venus. my current lover is one.

Well I think in my case, the 7th house describes whom I am attracted to. Especially the planet on the angle.

Add to that the position of Venus and Moon. So I can't be sure that that is the case all the time with others.

I have Mars conjunct 7th from the 6th and I am attracted to people that I can spar with. Physical sex appeal is also a must.

Venus close to 8th from 7th and Moon close to 4th from the 3rd suggests that they should be the type who are able to express/articulate their feelings well.

I attract Air/Water energy a lot. And I am drawn to it too. As the guy I am talking to now has Venus in Gem/Mars in Cancer

In the example given ,Mars in 10th tend to focus on career. So I guess getting along with someone who does the same(Cap-like) would make sense.

Venus in 4th beautifies their inner world and is likely very domesticated. So someone who is in touch with their feelings(Cancer-like)would appeal. As would the domestic/docile type(Taurus)

Mars/Venus in 12th house. I'd say Pisces people (Sun/Moon/Venus/Mars) tend to find me first. I'll be minding my own business and they will be their usual sweet gentle selves, never imposing in any way but just there, and one day I realise just how much better my life is because of them.

I also have Mars in 10th but I don't think I've ever dated a Capricorn, even though my 8th ruler is also Cap. My 7th in Sag but other than my first ex-bf, I also don't recall being particularly attracted to Sag.

Instead, I seem to attract Cancer, Leo, Scorpio (but I always don't have good experiences with Scorps)... and lately I've been attracting Virgo and Libra.

Cancer in my 2nd house
Leo my 3rd house
Scorpio my 6th house
Virgo my 4th house
Libra my 5th house

I cannot explain the high Cancerian attraction other than they perhaps tango well with my Taurus Sun/Mercury and Pisces Mars. Also my Saturn in Cancer is aspecting my Sun/Mercury/Mars. There's nothing in my 4th (Cancer) house other than Eros/Vertex. Eros trine Sun/square Asc. Vertex conjunct Pluto/trine Asc.

I have Pluto/Uranus in 5th (Leo) house and Pluto is quincunx Sun/trine Asc while Uranus oppose Sun/trine MC. Perhaps Leo in 3rd (Mercury/Gemini) resonates with my Gemini Venus/Asc.

Pluto in 5th would explain the Leo,Scorpio and Cancers attracted to you.

Pluto in 5th suggests one who is serious about love. Deathly so... That is why Sco, Cancer,Leo & Libra could be fans

Uranus in 5th suggests someone who is inventive and brings something very different to love relationships.

I see Gemini,Aqua, Sag and Aries being drawn to the latter.

The thing is to not always look at the planet a d sign it rules a d expect a lateral correlation between the two.

Relationship signs Libra,Sco,Tau,Cap,Virgo, Leo and Cancer are drawn to someone who wreaks of "I commit. I am serious about love. I want marriage" etc.

Sag,Aries,Gem,Aqua & Pis are about meeting of minds BEFORE meeting of hearts.

Mercury,Moon,Uranus,Mars,Jupiter,Neptune vibrate to the latter.

Sun,Pluto,Venus,Saturn vibrate to the former.

"Pluto in 5th suggests one who is serious about love. Deathly so..."
LOL...I think this placement makes me really "Scorpionic" in love. Whenever someone touches my 5th house Pluto, I get drawn into the darkness. Is that the reason why I also attract men with Juno in Scorpio? I didn't know Libra also likes this energy as I thought they just want calm, peaceful, harmonious love.

Sorry about that. I hadn't completed my post.

Libra may not necessarily "choose" the intense energy of Pluto. But it is the intensity to COMMIT that attracts them.

Libra lives for and is in love with being in the throes of a relationship. The drama, the tears, the flowers, the making up,the possessiveness, the romance etc.

They may have "peace and calm" on their mind. But this is an ideal. The reality really is that two people from varying backgrounds who come together in a relationship are bound to disagree and storm before being able to gel well together.

Libra has Scorpio as the 2nd house cusp in the solar chart. Clarity (Scorpio) of what's going on deep within is often what gives them a solid foundation(2nd) and minimises diffidence

There are many Libra/Sco couples I see. Moon there too.

Interesting. The guy I'm seeing now has Moon in Libra, Mars in Cancer, Juno in Scorpio. He tells me he doesn't like too much emotions yet he seems to like the intensity.

How would you describe Pluto in 5th vs a typical Scorpio? The difference in their Scorpionic energies?

I personally have noticed that it is common for individuals with Venus in sister signs to form romantic relationships. Like venus in Aries with venus in Libra, Capricorn with Cancer, etc. Not necessarily long-term relationships or love, but there always seems to be a lot of sexual or romantic tension there. My female friend who has venus in Virgo so often seems to end up with guys who have venus in Pisces (whether seriously or not).

Houses may have something to do with it, but in a different way than OP suggested. Houses are areas of life and the sign that rules the house is not the same nor do I ever find there to be much correspondence between the two... It is more like "houses go with houses", so maybe romantic partners could have Venus in the same house (though I have not personally noticed that)?

I've never really noticed that in couples, to person above me.

I also don't think I've noticed people attracting their Venus/Mars house placement sign. In my case, I have BUT to be fair my Venus and Mars are both angular so I would naturally attract them anyway.

I think we tend to attract the qualities of our Venus and Mars and the signs and houses they are encompassing.
For example, a man with Venus in Sagittarius/9th probably attracts women who have lots of crazy fashion choices, plays sports and enjoys culture and foreign cuisine and beauty, she might even be foreign. She might have very prominent thighs and be long, sturdy, and lean like the horse. Might work in a Sagittarian profession like foreign culture, cuisine, beauty, education, etc.

A man with Venus in Leo/5th might attract women who he can dominate and protect, so these women might often look stereotypically angelic or ethereal, very dainty, distant, and fragile compared to his more gruff appearance, like a little fairy princess. She might be stereotypically frail, sensitive, and a bit of a damsel in distress. If not that, she might also be very confident and proud of herself despite her possibly being the type to note her flaws out loud. She might be very passive, letting him take the reins, but very self-assured and confident and very artistically inclined and proud of him and his accomplishments. She might be the boastful type of their relationship, very proud of him and what they achieve together.

and etc

Linda Goodman says in her "Love signs" book that nothing beats the supreme dominance of the Sun.

That no matter what aspects there are or how challenged it is. Its light still finds a way to shine through. And I am inclined to agree with this.

I see the Sun as the "seat" of the soul. And where the individual will insist on uninhibited natural expression. Because it is the energy of self expression.

And i also agree with the Chaldean system of house rulership where the Sun is not so much about the 5th house. But really the 4th house(probably contradicting much of what conventional astrology says)

So when I look at the Sun,i look at it from the point of view of one expressing their basic, intrinsic, expansive inclinations on a continuous and consistent basis.

You can't stop an Aries from being passionate,a Taurus from thinking in terms of "SECURITY", a Sag from wanting to explore what is out there etc.

A sun in Scorpio has ime, always been self contained and the type to withhold or withdraw their inner thoughts and feelings. This no matter what aspects there are. Even with Mercury in aspect to Sun, they are particular about what they share and conceal.

So when the Sun is in Scorpio, it suggests one who finds comfort(4th) or ease of expression in an atmosphere that is authentic, meaningful and validating (Mars/Pluto).

So this is why Scorpio's are not scared of what we would characterize as "intensity" or "danger" etc. And this does not strictly mean only in the physical sense. But more in the psychological sense too.

This could be in the form of confronting long held resentment of being abused by parents, learning to love someone after they have cheated on you, forgiving your rapist or being honest about sexual identity etc.

To them, it is the essence of what real living is all about. To be authentic, true and be in constant awareness of your inner workings.

The house that the Sun is in suggests where this individual may find that sense of easy self expression. Or where self expansion is likely.

If in the 3rd house,it may be through the spoken word. So this Scorpion will naturally dominate or find ease of expression in words, books, intellectual pursuits(3rd house) etc. Finding very common ground with Gemini.

It is likely that such a Scorpio would live/work in a busy place where there is a lot of activity i.e the city, in corporate etc.

If the Scorpio is married or dating long-term.The relationship is likely to be one that is eventful, active, adventurous & characterizes a strong mental rapport with the mate.(3rd house)

But as is characterized by Scorpio energy. The area will have a Mars/Pluto feel. So for instance Sun in 3rd will make them intellectually inclined (true) but the added Scorpio influence will add uncovering things or bringing things to light.

So investigative journalism may appeal. Or something that has to do with communicating (3rd) something that is classified or kept secret/hidden from others(Scorpio) I.e conspiracy theorist or cut throat no holds barred interviewer etc.

The Sun will give them dominance and esteem in this area. More so than someone with Pluto/Mars in 3rd. But if Pluto/Mars are in aspect to the Sun in 3rd in Scorpio in the chart. Watch out!!This individual eats what others deem "controversy" as breakfast.

The Moon/house position will describe the characteristic of the mate and what kind of nurturing or role the Scorpio seeks them to add into their life.

The Moon in Chaldean astrology is reflective. And as such rules partnerships (7th). Because it is through partnership that we hold a mirror to reflect ourselves

Pluto is the great slate cleaner. Its a transpersonal energy that shows its characteristics much more vividly as one gets older.

Pluto is like Mars on steroids. The difference being that Pluto is not so quick to be as reactive as Mars. It lies dormant for many years, then it suddenly explodes like a volcanoes desecrating everything in its path until all is ash.

This is how Pluto "cleans" the slate. It can foster healing through burning everything. (grudges long held, feelings of hurt or pain long nursed). It cuts off these things from the root cause.

So if its a lover, family, job ,boss or even "God". Pluto cuts the associative thoughts and feelings with the affiliated people completely OFF.

So when expressed in the 5th,the intensity of feelings may not be immediately clear to the native. Pluto works very slowly. So one goes about 5th house affairs as per usual.

But there is Federal reserve bank of feelings (so to speak)that are kept after each terrible love experience I.e ; heartache, being dumped, being used, being taken advantage of, being cheated on etc.

So whilst Mars in 5th will express this frustration by confronting the cheating spouse on " Cheaters" etc. Pluto's actions, when transits/progressions to the 5th are aligned. Are even more drastic.

Pluto in 5th will sell the shared flat/home. Hire movers to come get their things and whilst the partner is blissfully unaware of what is happening. The Pluto individual will throw the clothes/items of the partner out of the flat, change the locks, move States and block all contacts with their ex. This is the"cutting off".

The reason relationship oriented people are drawn to Pluto in 5th is because they sense their sincerity. Its is heartfelt and deep.

And so this intensity makes them feel safe to be with someone who does not take love for granted and is not afraid to face up to the "inner work" etc.

But seldom are the same people who are attracted to Pluto in 5th really aware of how DEEP things can get. Lord have mercy!!!

Omg. I really do that when I end a relationship and I've severed 3 friendships in my life. Completely wiped them off the face of this earth and burned everything to the ground. You're right, Pluto doesn't explode like Mars... it's more like dissolving with acid until all traces are gone and temperatures can drop from 25deg to -20deg overnight.

I don't understand lukewarm love.. it's 100 or 0 for me. I also don't know how to love at an arm's love.. it's we embrace tightly or part. I'm super focused on my partner and I expect the same from him. I can be obsessed.

I read that 5th Pluto makes me Plutonic (or scorpionic? Same thing?) in love. I never realised I was like this until I read up on this... and then I understood myself better. Thankfully I don't stalk my partners. Lol.

Friends always tell me I become another person when I'm in love. I become so emotional. But unlike Scorpio, I don't know how to love a cheating partner. I only wanna murder them and kill myself. Or just self-destruct. I find my Pluto scary at times.

I'm just thinking is Scorpio like this as well in relationships? Or there's a difference?

And do you mean people with Mars-Pluto aspects have a scorpionic side to them? I thought that's more on how they manage their aggressions?

Scorpio Sun is ruled by Mars/Pluto.And barring other aspects to Sun to mitigate this somewhat, means that it is part of Scorpio's inherent nature to express Mars/Pluto characteristics.

Sun in Scorpio(Aries too)use this Mars/Pluto energy to be fighters, investigators, pioneers, survivors etc.

But Mars(their traditional ruler) and Pluto are both planets that are difficult to consciously "control". In that both can be defenders as well as destructors.

Relationships challenge Scorpio to find resources within to tamper the energy towards a productive end that builds the relationship. Not destroy it.

So the Pluto/Mars energy morphs into a protective shell they use to shield the relationship from prying eyes and people with malevolent intentions.

The more inlove Scorpio is, the more they are prepared to go to the moon and back. Risk limb and(if needs be) life, in order to preserve or save the ones they love.

So Scorpio expects the same undying, unwavering devotion from the people that they support so deeply. And herein is the start of many problems. Because not everybody has the intensity of commitment that they do, they (others)usually fall short of the glory.

So aspects of their ruler(Pluto/Mars) to the Sun, doubles this mentality. And it makes relationships for these people very ALL or NOTHING.

Someone with Leo sun sign vibrates to the Sun. So their outlook is influenced by their ruler(Sun).

Sun in Leos tend to love the individual without looking too deeply into them(unlike Mars). They want to love them from a holistic, ideal point of view. Scorpio can't do that.

The warmth of Sun in Leo attracts suitors who love the devotion and ease that Leo offers. They are not about to probe into your mind and uncover secrets(Mars/Pluto does that). With Leo, loyalty to them is assumed by default of being in a relationship with them. Not "earned".

However,if Pluto is in aspect to the Sun. There is a twist to this Leo. In that, the more probing and investigative qualities of Pluto also form part of the personality.

Here, the ego of the native can find itself being defensive against getting a broken heart on one end. But so wanting to give their heart to the ones they love as earnestly as possible on the other.

When Mars/Pluto form aspects in a chart, they speak of pent up rage. Or a momentum of energy that can be focused on destruction or building. The choice being on the native concerned.

Does it give Scorpio qualities? Yes. As both Mars/Pluto rule Scorpio. But the energy is very primal and requires conscious awareness for it to function well within a relationship.

The stark difference being that whilst Sun in Scorpio may look towards getting to the heart of the matter to encourage/facilitate more authenticity. Mars/Pluto on the other hand wants to get to the heart of the matter by tearing down. Going to extremes. Period.

So when we speak of Scorpios more negative traits. We are in actuality speaking of Mars/Pluto conjunction at it's worst.

The positives are there. Like they are the most loyal to you. Interested in you as a whole person instead of just as their lover.

People who have Pluto in 5th (like those who have (Sun/Venus/Saturn in 5th) tend to to "date to marry".

But the road is infinitely more bumpy for Pluto because of their sensitivity to trust issues, sudden ejection from the relationship, abandonment by partner and loss through death of partner etc.

The intensity of commitment rivals that of Scorpio. But it is significantly greatly intensified because of Pluto's more volcanic nature. So it can get to a point or being obsessive.

So since their Pluto in the 5th house squares my Moon which falls in their 8th house that would probably add to the intensity on their part?

Pluto-Moon contacts speak of emotional conditioning. It's on a very subtle level that tends to gain momentum over a long period of time.

In synastry, emotional honesty & authenticity are emphasized by this aspect at best. Or blatant manipulation at worst.

With the square aspect in synastry, the Moon person has heightened feelings of being sensitized or sensitive to Pluto's conditioning I.e how they approach them, what they say(or do not say) and take their cue from that.

I.e Pluto says to the Moon "I love you". And the Moon internalizes that with " I feel loved".

But then say Pluto is harsh and abusive towards the Moon " I would love you more if you lost a bit of weight".

Even with the "easy" aspect of trine or the conjunction, the Moon in this case will internalize that to mean "I have to change the way I look in relationships in order to have another love me more". And this will form the fabric of their feeling patterns (Moon).

If there is a square, the Moon will be resistant and rebel against such on one hand I.e " Don't you dare say that you love me when you expect to change me" etc.

But on the other end , even with that being the case the square leaves a tense residue that can double up as insecurity and doubt for the Moon person.

Soon they (Moon) will find themselves asking friends "Do you think I need to lose weight?". Even if they (Moon) have never thought themselves to have weight issues before. They will start to question when looking in the mirror.

So in the Moon-Pluto synastry relationship, the Moon must be careful of what it is that they choose to believe and are fed. They can be conditioned to believe a truth or lie from a fundamental place.

They should especially bring Pluto to book for something that contradicts their(Moon) version of what feels true and real for themselves. And not accept everything blindly. Otherwise Pluto will mess with them.

If Pluto is indeed the manipulative kind, they (Moon)should actively exercise discrimination and distance themselves because things are likely to get much worse than better over time.

At best however, this aspect can add to the two people feeling like the more they are together, the deeper their appreciation for each other grows. Even beyond amorous love and affection.

It is a binding aspect over time that lingers in memory. Whether it was productive or destructive.

Sun in fifth... You mentioned they generally date to marry. Curious if other factors would mitigate this fact? I mean I know it always can, but what is if this is pretty strong in their chart? Mars (DC ruler) in fifth conjunct Sun. Squares Pluto from 2nd, but at a pretty wide orb (9). Pluto also trine Leo Moon at a pretty tight orb. Curious how powerful it would be in this case? And the manipulative tendencies, does it exist the same way with the trine or is it not as apparent? Like are they rather 'pros' at manipulating or obsessing that you're not even aware they're doing it? Especially to the Moon...

Like are they rather 'pros' at manipulating or obsessing that you're not even aware they're doing it? Especially to the Moon...

Sun/Mars conjunction likes challenges. So the Mars aspect adds heat to the ego. So when in 5tu, the individual may put lots of passion into the relationship....true.

But add the Mars aspect and there is defensiveness of the ego and added turbulance that may make the relations more rowdy than if Sun been there all by itself.

One needs to manage Mars in their chart. Or Mars will manage itself and cause all sorts or unnecessary calamities if its energies are not used for productive ends.

Mars in 5th for instance will infuse arguments, jealousy, competitiveness with the partner or create a feeling that things need to go "full steam ahead" in order for it to be authentically felt as a true love affair.

The added square from Pluto suggests that it is not easy for the individual to just detach themselves and walk away from a failed relationship. The longer they stay, the stronger Pluto gets.

In fact, with Sun and Pluto both in 5th and the relationship is likely long-term.

So the native may struggle with a heart/ego that's been bruised when cheating happens or there is a fallout.

And it will matter little if they are the ones left behind or do the leaving. The anger festers still and it takes time for them to heal from the bitterness.

Pluto and Sun are not frivolous planets. Where they are stationed is where they want to set up base and "rule" (More especially Sun)

Trines are known as "easy" aspects. But to me, I think it also depends on the two planetary relationships involved in the interaction.

Pluto-Moon speaks of early conditioning of the emotional kind. Like you would cook a frog slowly by progressively raising the temperature so that the frog is blissfully unaware that it is being cooked. Then it dies.

With the trine, it means that the Moon relates with Pluto in an effortless and seamless way. Pluto here is the dominant "influencer"

So that means Pluto can transmit messages to the emotional mind of the Moon. And the Moon soaks it up like a sponge. Do you see where this "easy" aspect can present problems?

Think of it like government propaganda(Pluto) fed to the young(Moon) that dictates ever so subtly how their lives should be lived.

How will they know or be able to discern that what is being said to them serves their self actualization or the government's own motives?

Are their own motives and those of the government in unison? Should they be in agreement with what the government wants? And what of their own liberty to think and reason for themselves?

The trine accepts without question. And this can present problems. And to me Moon-Pluto describes the basic nature of religious , cultural and racial indoctrination or socialisation.

In that people internalize (Moon) these teachings so deeply from a young age and make them their own etc. That they will react with violent opposition (Pluto) should they be challenged by others or contradicted.

This Even when they(beliefs) undermine them or defeat their ability to reason for themselves eg. suicide bombers.

The good news is that transits or progressions open up a window of self examination.

So Uranus or Neptune aspects add sudden detachment/revolt to the ways conditioned towards. Whilst with Neptune, dissolution of teachings occurs leaving the native confused as to what it is that truly matters or is true.

What I am basically saying is that the Pluto-Moon individual needs not wait for such transits to occur. They can measure their own feeling place(Moon) relative to what they have been fed(Pluto).

So whilst they may have easily accepted(trine) that as a woman they couldn't do certain things from a young age(Pl-Moon). They can consciously look for contradictions to that notion all around life and then ask ; but why not?

Pluto aspects to planets encourage the individual to have a defensive shell or protective layer that protects and preserves their own personal integrity from at worst manipulation or influence.

They must test and question things before internalizing them to see that they truly serve who they are internally.

I feel that Pluto in 5th can also become more "aggressive" due to the intensity. And this loss of partner u mentioned is what I always tell my guy... pls don't die before me because I can't handle it.. I may just die with him of a broken heart. Crazy Pluto.

Curious... if my 5th Pluto conjuncts his Moon which is also his chart ruler, does that make my Pluto even crazier? His Moon falls in my 3rd house which rules my Asc. My Pluto also squares his Mars. I read so much on Moon-Pluto but I can't see how I'm controlling/manipulating him. I'm unaware I'm even doing this. Also unaware how affected he gets but he seems to take seriously the advices I gave.

Does it change things if he also has Pluto conjunct Moon in Natal?

I don't think Pluto is "crazy" So contacts of your Pluto to his Moon will not make you "crazier".

Pluto here is NOT the evil, bad guy. Not at all. So they are not to be seen in the light of " darkness " and "bad influencer" etc.

What I think I mean is that Pluto has opinions, objectives and ideals like everyone else. The difference being that those opinions, objectives, ideals etc. Tend to be profound enough to influence those around anthem for good or ill

Seldom is there conscious awareness though. Not until they(Pluto individual) are held accountable for their influence. As most times, they don't take it for granted that they have a massive impact on the people they touch or interact with.

Consider Pluto not as Hitler per se. Hitler is an instrument(Mars/Moon). But consider Pluto as the sponsoring thought for Hitler's ideals I.e writers that he agreed with, people he admired etc.

Did these people count that one day someone radical will internalize their ideas and cause millions to suffer? Not so. Should they be held accountable for "lighting the match" that brought on the suffering?

What counts is what the individual who takes on the ideas does I.e the one with Mars/Moon etc. In contact with Pluto. Because Pluto will keep on expressing their ideas. It is natural for them to do so.

What matters is that the Hitlers of this world be mindful of not internalizing everything they have read and unfiltered and this become brainwashed.

Pluto contacts encourage the planet being touched to take more self-responsibility
