My progressed venus now is in gemini, so this time it taught me to take some things rationaly, as they appear to be and not imagining things like I do most of the time. I realized that people have bad sides and I should consider that side too.
I'm a Pisces and most of the time I don't consider the warnings and hope for the best in the others, which is risky.

Now that it ended, I feel like I'm not going to accept some things anymore.

I spoke to a guy that I cut ties with, because I was reading something that pertained to what happened. I took pictures of two pages, and emailed them to him, and added something. I wasn't in the best mood, but I realized that I'd done an information "dump and run" when I told him where to go, since I was no longer concerned with trying to keep things light. I'd avoided a conversation that I wasn't in the mood to go into, in April, and I think he thought I was blowing him off, when I really just wanted to talk about it another time. I can spill all kinds of information, when I've given up, and am no longer worrying about what might happen next. "There was this, this, and that, and by the way, screw you" was pretty much my "goodbye".

Anyway, we had been getting along really well, and I guess my brain clicked into "oh, **** " mode. I have social anxiety with almost everyone, to varying degrees, but I froze. Rather than just admit to it, I changed the subject. He asked, "What was that about, hon?" and I just said something about my brain being that way. Well, I guess that's true, but it wasn't the only thing. I'd ducked out again, and it would be the same with the next guy (if there is one). I don't like being repeatedly tripped up by something, so I'm trying to deal with it.

I'll probably edit this out. This is just what happened for me.

My engagement party is happening! My future mother in law knows a lot of traditions and etiquette that I was completely unaware of.
There are certain roles and traditions that are for the bride and groom's family!

Like I did not know that it is tradition for the brides family to host the engagement party. So I offered to my parents and they are up for it! My mom was never the big party planner type, but she is getting so into it! It is getting me excited for the party. She is getting really festive with it!
I think I'll get my hair cut and done for it too. (I haven't been to a real salon since OCTOBER!)

I have never been to an engagement party until my fiance's sister. I did not know the gift etiquette so I got them a card and a bottle of champagne. But my mom told me it a no gift thing, though some people do not like to show up empty handed.

My guy and I managed to finally meet up when Venus went direct, but still, Mercury is Rx in Cancer and Mars just went into Aries. We got into an argument on the very night we met. Sucks. But I got over it a few days later so we're fine again for now...so overall I still feel up/down.

I definitely feel better! Venus was retrograde in my 12th house and it got to a point where I was crying frequently. Then Mercury Rx in my 1st house hit me HARD. As a Taurus, Venus is my ruler and I don’t think Mercury Rx would have been as bad if Venus wasn’t already retrograde. Once Venus went direct all those Mercury Rx issues subsided. I feel SO much lighter. And dry-eyed.

The Venus Rx in my 12th definitely woke me up to a lot of things that had been hidden, mainly at my workplace. Now that it’s direct again and we’ve had the new moon in Cancer (in my first house), I have a plan of action to remedy the situation.

OMG. Can I see your chart? That is so like me and is exactly what I did? LOL. (Same circumstances. I cut him off end March/Mid April with a few information dumps) I do information dumps cuz its like "ok here is everything I know. Now f* off" He probably thought you were bread crumbing him though! What is your relationship with him?

Would things get better once Venus officially moves to the next sign in July 25th? I've just been looking out for new changes in mentality. Making decisions (especially on any feelings related e.g should I stay or should I leave?) seems especially dangerous during this period (even more so when after Venus Rx was over and I suddenly felt that the me during was delusional) so I'm just trying to hold everything off. I'm quite new to Astrology (about a year) so this is the first cycle I am paying attention to.

I think once Venus moves out of her shadow period things will be clearer, but Mercury Rx is always stronger IMO. What house of yours did Venus Rx fall in?

Venus in Gemini is not inherently bad. I would wait until Mercury goes direct again before making any major decisions, and even better, wait for the next new moon which is not long after.

If you are still feeling crappy after Venus went direct, I would consider Mercury Rx as the culprit - but also look at other transits to your chart. It’s hard to isolate one thing.

Thanks! We're fine now... I just didn't like that we were arguing when we should have been making up for the time we lost during Covid lockdown.
