this year I am noticing a clear increase in people coming in for counseling and bringing up body image issues, I am wondering if this is chiron in aries in action as it progresses, bringing this stuff up to the surface for us to work through collectively....I feel for women this is an issue that we all face to some extent in a spectrum, from mild to extreme, I think as humans we are wired to try to be the best version of ourselves and then you add the media to the mix with that innate drive and it can lead to "body obsession." Its a big topic but wanted to share this observation I am noticing lately of this stuff coming to the surface more for people it seems and wonder if Chiron in Aries retro is why. IP: Logged |

that is an awesome observation. Today I told my sister that "I think my solar plexus has downs syndrome." I started doing chakra yoga. IP: Logged |

Don't think it has anything to do with Chiron or Aries, but rather the confusing, challenging, and uncertain times we are in in general. When people feel greater levels of uncertainty and/or difficult times (financially, socially, or whatever), their stress levels and insecurity levels tend to rise. When general insecurity rises, then body image issues will tend to rise as well. In this case, correlation does equal causation. And this general time of challenge, stress, etc is related far more to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn than anything else. Both are now pretty much also in Sidereal Capricorn as well as Tropical, and when they move more fully into S. Capricorn, things will start to get real interesting, as Sidereal relates more to collective, event, manifestation type stuff to begin with (Tropical Zodiac is much better for individuals and psychology). Right now they are still cusping Sagittarius in the S. system, but when they move more fully into Capricorn (like around 7 to 10 degrees or so), hold onto your seat belts because the ride is going to get even bumpier. Aries does not rule the body in general. Aries rules the head specifically. Aries and Ascendant/1st House are not synonymous, not the same thing. Different names because they are different symbols that happen to have a very loose connection. IP: Logged |
