Saturn in this aspect isn't working so much as a suppressor of Venus, but indicates low self-worth tends to get channeled into ways of attempting to prove oneself socially or through accomplishments. It's an indicator of insecurity. The person tends to get too personally involved in work or external efforts and needs to build genuine self worth from the inside.The lesson often revolves around dedication, devotion, commitment -- but not necessarily to one person, but to building and following up on good values. But balance will need to be learned between inner work and outer work. Otherwise, it can negatively affect physical and emotional health, because it can become too easy to choose doing good over being vulnerable with a particular person who wants to get close. So vulnerability is an issue. ------------------
