So ifHouse X in Leo All the leadership qualities are there: authority, sense of organization, initiative, intelligence, but also thanks to outside help. She is a fighter. House VI in Aries Ability to command, knows how to take up her responsibilities at work. Weak point: headaches, fevers. House XI is the area of search for social and intellectual security. House XI in Virgo Friends must resemble her, anyone having different ideas or ways of doing things cannot be friends. Discussing ideas is not her cup of tea. Her knowledge is the result of study but also of the down-to-earth nature that characterizes her. But I don't believe in "Friends must resemble her, anyone having different ideas or ways of doing things cannot be friends." I meet a variety of friends. I totally agree with this, particularly about the North Node. The NN shows us what we must learn in THIS life time, our path of destiny. That definitely means that the NN helps us in our careers as well.I would say that the earth houses: 2, 6, and 10 all correlate to your career. The 2nd house shows what we value and our attitude regarding material wealth and possessions, 6th house shows our attitudes towards physical labor and workplace motivations, and the 10th is our reputation and public standing. Look at any planets/points in those houses, the signs on the actual cusp, and the ruler of the sign on the cusp. I also agree about the 11th house as well: it signifies long-term goals, hopes and dreams, and dealing with large groups of people. I also understand this as friends and benefactors. IP: Logged |

This is post is a tad old. In my case trying to find where my sparkle could be, never really fit anywhere per se. If only this had been known to me in 80s. Oh well, it is still be helpful. Anyone with an ample future ahead should look at their northN in T reads too. After bumping into an amazing Tarot reader, she included the north node for that read. So in a manner of reading for others as well as myself, I now am using north node. Plus your advice.  IP: Logged |

For job satisfaction ... look for a career that enables you to use the qualities of the planets in the dispositor chain of the ruler of the 10th house.For work that pays well ... look for something that enables you to use the qualities of the planets in the dispositor chain of the ruler of 6th house. I'm out of practice sharing an img, I'm trying to if you or anyone vcan verify, I think as you said the two options Graham, my chart seems to have Mercury + Venus as lead in my chains. (Virgo Taurus)

If you have Virgo on the cusp of the 10th, the dispositor chain = Mercury/Ruler -> Jupiter -> Venus -> Saturn -> Mars -> Neptune -> Pluto -> (Back to Mercury) If you have Taurus on the cusp of the 6th, the dispositior chain = Venus/Ruler -> Saturn -> Mars -> Neptune -> Pluto -> Mercury -> Jupiter -> (Back to Venus) So ... in your case, both chains contain exactly the same planets ... Hence, a career/job that made use of the qualities of those 7 planets would be satisfying AND well-paid. (However, so it should be, since those are a lot of skills to be bringing to the table.)

I had: Venus > Moon > Saturn > Uranus > Jupiter >Pluto
~ my comprehension of the dispositors is still needing fined tuned. Thank you so very much Graham! I dropped this a couple years ago and this year it is becoming necessary to know. 
It seems luminaries and electricity are missing. Song comes to mind "Hello darkness my old friend .." lol .. j/k
Having the same for both mediocre and a bit better, makes it maybe easier to narrow down.

That would be correct for Cancer Venus -> Capricorn Moon -> Aquarius Saturn -> Sagittarius Uranus -> Scorpio Jupiter -> Pluto. But , the Pullen "sign dispositior for wheel" has Capricorn Venus, Aries Saturn, Virgo Uranus, Libra Jupiter and Virgo Pluto. IP: Logged |

It's not signs that matter, but cusps and the sign ruler of the cusp and/or planets in close major aspects to them, including parallels and contra-parallels, that speak of vocational energies. The Asc/1st house and those cusp aspects always set the tone for it.
