I'm extremely interested in chakras but I want to figure out how they relate to astrology. There are many pieces of information stating various connections the Planets/Sun/Moon have to each chakra but I want to logically and intuitively work to figure out what makes the most sense and feels true.

Please help me with your insight and/or with information you have found through various resources relating to this subject!

I've heard it simply put like this:

Sun=Crown
Moon=3rd Eye
Mercury=Throat
Venus=Heart
Mars=Solar Plexus
Jupiter=Sacral
Saturn=Root

But I think it would make more sense for Mars/Pluto to be the Sacral Chakra ruling our sexual energy, right?

Then there are the outer planets. If Uranus is the one who "knows" then wouldn't it be related to the Throat chakra or the 3rd Eye Chakra?

Furthermore, Solar Plexus, emphasis on the SOLAR. Solar Plexus chakra is where our willpower comes in and in Astrology, Leo is how we literally are our own star, right?

I always thought that Neptune should be involved with the Crown Chakra too because it's pure spirituality. I'm just wondering how to put them all together.

The Moon is supposed to be our subconscious and our emotional side and since those aren't physical, wouldn't they be ruling chakras up higher like the Heart or 3rd Eye? Hm. . .

Wow, thank you for the info. That is so interesting! You actually touched on this weird question that I had about my Sun/Jupiter conjunction in the 1st. I was wondering how that would manifest regarding chakras.

Maybe we should all discuss our aspects from house to house and figure out how Ms. Myss' (haha) system would work for us?

Does she have a chart or diagram that we could look at, 12th?

I don't know how they would work though.

Sun the Crown
Moon the 3rd Eye
Mercury the Throat
Venus the Heart
Mars the Solar Plexus
Jupiter the Sacral

Honestly i can't match them together and they differ to much

There has to be a connection between though.

Well we draw all energy and light from the Sun it's like a source for the soul, but that goes with the Solar Plexus or the Root aswell ..
The Crown Chakra is a door of universal energy and conscience; through it you can reach a higher state of awareness .. Sounds like both Neptune & Uranus, but the Sun could fit there aswell, or the Moon ..

I guess Uranus was a good idea

The sun is nice from a distance but it burns everything it touches.
Personally I find unattractive flaws in all planets.

Even Jupiter and Venus.

This is because I find a lot of Venusians and Jovians to have huge personality flaws lol.

Neptune fits better in my opinion. A very active 3rd eye results in an expanded awareness which is basically the ability to perceive things both from this and higher dimensions. It's like blending of worlds.

This is how I see the crown: it allows us to draw available etheric energy into our etheric body (since chakras belong to it). I believe this is what reiki is about. Its practitioners channel and sometimes manipulate this so called "universal energy". Also, some people think we can connect with the Source through that chakra. Anyway, when you receive energy that way it supposedly feels like current (sounds Uranian, doesn't it?).
