Apparently there isn't much going on here in Dayton today...

I just listened to a news story called, "Are you boxers or briefs?"

I had to watch.

They said economists can tell the state of the recession by the amount of mens underwear sales.
Apparently, when the economy is bad, men put buying new undies last on the list...

So the report ending with this..

...."Major retailers report underwear sales are slumping this year"

I have been laughing all day about one thing or another. This is the funniest day I've had in a long time.

I find the strangest things funny.

But when the announcer used the words; underwear, sales, and slumping in the same sentence, it cracked (oops no pun intended) me up. I get visuals, you know?

And wonder, who writes this stuff??
Don't they read it aloud or test it out on someone before they get on the air? lol.

Oh jesus christ. My bloke only has 3 pairs so I don't know what state they'll be in after the recession. God only knows, looks critical now to be honest with you.

What is it with me? Why do I go out with people who own limited undergarments? My last man had like 4 pairs of socks that he rotated in his super-anal Virgo ASC way (I can say this because I am one too, but not that bad) and now this. WTF? Buy some drawers for the love of god.

perhaps i can help you out. my man goes from 34 to 36. he would rather buy new underwear than do laundry. so he has like 2 drawers full of drawers.

if he buys another package of underwear or socks i will kill him, he has enough to last 5 people a lifetime!
