I got 2 weird emails from Zala too. I was gonna let her know too but since LEXX has done so, I won't because someone has alerted her.

I knew it was hackers since the same thing happened to me last year from my yahoo account.

well i opened one but just for a second and hopefully it won't bite me!! then i noticed there were two and they both had weird subjects for emails from zala!! luckily i have good protection on my new freebie laptop!!

the names on mine were different but equally random and maybe-foreign sounding too...common sense says "why would zala send me two emails about people i never even heard of - in one morning?!"

the laptop story is simple really, a friend's boyfriend is a programmer and just got a new machine for work, so he took all his stuff off the old one and gave it to me...VERY generous yes?? in fact i have had a few thoughts passing thru my brain that maybe he expected me to offer him money for it but since i have NONE currently and i think he knows that, i am just rejoicing in my good fortune...

however reception at my house is erratic at best so i am still mostly confined to places that have free wi-fi like the library, borders, and sometimes sitting in the car!!
