How awesome! I love peeps, except the yellow ones.I am a weirdo-peep-eater, though, because, I can't stand them when they are fresh! I like to cut a slit in the wrapping and stick them on top of the fridge for like a week! (food issues) I'm gonna take my peeps out as soon as the rain clears!! IP: Logged |

I am not an aficionado why not the yellow? I fully empathize with a finely aged peep though> IP: Logged |

I could not, would not, in a house. I would not, could not, with a mouse. I would not eat them with a fox. I would not eat them in a box. I would not eat them here or there. I would not eat them anywhere. I would not eat green peeps and ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-am.sorry...don't know why that popped in my head lol I actually LOVE Peeps!!!!

Peeps are the BEST when they are a little stale. A week or so stale. Like red licorice. Too fresh and they don't taste right.IP: Logged |

Hi Braveheart~ Peeps Wiki quote: IndestructibilityPeeps are sometimes jokingly described as "indestructible". In 1999, scientists at Emory University performed experiments on batches of Peeps to see how easily they could be dissolved, burned or otherwise disintegrated, using such agents as cigarette smoke, boiling water and liquid nitrogen. They claimed that the eyes of the confectionery "wouldn't dissolve in anything". Furthermore, Peeps are insoluble in acetone, water, sulfuric acid, and sodium hydroxide.[9]
So much for higher education While I have not eaten one [don't tell now] Many are rabid for the beasties. Now I am going to buy a pack. ~ Sweet Cap'n amazon.com sells everything, and delivered. Many mega marts now sell Vegemite in the 'international' sections as well.
Vegimite
Question: If I were to photograph 1 [one] would I be photographing a peeps, or a peep? IP: Logged |

Yuuuummmy! Love Spotted Dick Pudding! Kind of an old fashion suet & bread pudding with currants and all. Not on lumpy custard though. Prefer it hot, in a bowl, drizzled with cold thick vanilla or hazelnut cream, or Irish Cream liquor. Or cooled and sliced. Or sliced and tossed on a griddle to toast then maple syrup, just like a pancake or French toast. Well, I am an odd one in that I LOVE fruitcakes too! And zucchini bread! So.....send me any unwanted fruitcakes, tins of Spotted Dick, any bread puddings, and any kinds of squash! Seriously though, wish I could be given those things I savor and others hate. Back to the Spotted Dick.... I think it is mentioned in the Harry Potter books and movies!Peeps... love them but they kick my blood sugar to near 500, so no peeps for me any longer. ------------------ Everyone is a teacher... http://www.amazon.com/Heinz-Spotted-Sponge-Pudding-10-Ounce/dp/B000II27QE Google Heinz Spotted Dick for more! If one likes bread pudding and or mincemeat crispy tarts, one should like Spotted Dick. The Christmas pudding "hissing in the copper", in the story "A Christmas Carol" was most likely a type of Spotted Dick. I like it when walnuts are added and golden and black currants, and a weer bit of poppy seed too. And a pinch of lemon and orange peel and a bit of chopped black cherries, for fruitier versions, with a cream cheese lemon sauce, or black cherry sauce, or fruit syrup. ------------------ Everyone is a teacher...
