And I have no clue what's being referenced here.

Just saying.

But I hope Lexx gets better, does well, finds resolution, or whatever.

She said in another thread she was feeling down about a few things and she is also going through an ear / tooth infection. I just wanted her to know she is in my thoughts.

Thank you all for caring!

cpn....
you did not upset me dear....
the entire situation and fighting did.
And the horrible things being said.
I tried to stay clear of it all even when some e-mailed me because of what was being said, and maybe hoping I'd intervene, even though I have no authority to do so.
But I finally just had enough and spoke out even though I knew there would be a backlash.
As to my health.....disabled of course...no changes there for the most part for over 2 decades. However the tooth abscess and exposed nerve in a broken one, with an inner ear infection, most likely from the tooth...
And waiting for the damn insurance to authorize things...and after a month of agony...finally get an appointment with the oral surgeon next week. I hate taking pain meds and rarely do. However tooth and ear pain are a nightmarish ordeal!
Then the damn meds, side effects...so ended up in the ER last week, they thought it was
a DVT, but it ended up being a really bad spasm knot instead, most likely a side effect of the damn meds. And a vein rupture the week before which fortunately has finally healed. Huge 5"x11" black/purple bruise. Ow.(Balance troubles (dizzy from meds) and bumped my chest hard..so that was most likely the cause)

OK....
enough of the public airing of my woes.

Thanks again everyone!

Re; Ear infection.

Have you tried cutting a piece of garlic clove so that it fits snugly in your ear? I do this for my son and you know how often children can get ear infections etc, this works every time.

If you do try it just remember that it should not be so small that it will fall into your ear canal.

I hope you get better soon.

Yes, that works for outer ear infections but this is an inner/middle ear one...most likely because of the tooth and sinus trouble....
need to have a little surgery in a sinus as soon as insurance will cover it. That should put an end to ear infections once the sinus is not closed off. And probably will help make allergies less of a problem and make sleeping easier too when I can breathe with both nostrils!

LEXX, I hope you feel better soon.
There is nothing worse than a toothache especially paired with other pains like that.

And yes, mostly the left ear, same side as the tooth abscess and exposed nerve broken tooth. I have had stitches, thumb sewn back on, broken bones set....without pain killers/anesthesia.....
but OMG! WHAT IS IT WITH THE INTENSE AGONIZING CLANG CLANG BANG BANG OWWWWWW OF TOOTH/EAR PAIN?

Oh that is sooooo true!
When the pain is so damn severe from the shoulders up it just makes everything feel worse, and dizzy, hard to sleep, and eat.
LOL! At least it is causing weight loss which I needed!
On that note...need to take some more meds before the pain slams me harder...
I hate pain meds!
But this is beyond even my pain threshold.
I see the oral surgeon next week.
He is fabulous!

I am so happy that you have an oral surgeon you like and trust.

That is not a common experience.

I believe it was J.P. Woolworth? IDK, feel free to correct me, I just remember it was someone VERY rich who died from an infection from what started in the tooth.

People need to know that you CANNOT wish infections away, if only life was that simple...
Not to get into a huge debate, but..
Maybe our Linda would still be with us, had she had more faith in the medical profession.

Which is VERY hard to do, if you've spent alot of time around it! Unfortunately, sometimes, it's necessary.
And, I'm just very happy that you have someone whom you have faith in.

Get well soon!!

He is a rare gem! I only wish I could find other doctors and specialists who are as kind and competent as he is! Most are idiots or rude.
