the day after thanksgiving will now be known as the second veterans day.

gone but not forgotten.

please no negativity in this thread whatsoever. it is to honor those who have gone and to let them know they will always be remembered and always be dear to my heart. you are my friends. those who have been with me in highs and lows with a laugh and a word of encouragement through all kinds of weather. we have learned together, we have grown together, and i will miss you dearly. this is a day of remembrance now for all times. with you i have faced things in myself, the good, the bad and the ugly. you can not be replaced in my heart as you each brought here the individual that was you and i for one will never forget.

bittersweet memories
that is all
i am taking with me...

and the whole world sings...AND I eI eI eI
will always love YOU...oooIIII
will always....

please let this day of remembrance stand in truth and love.

I read this book at work, the saddest book I've ever read.
It listed every serviceman who died in Vietnam
The average age was 19-23
Sad

We should do something nice (personal) for a Vet.

I second your proclamation. Motion carried. I think it's a shame we have to ask for no negativity when we start any string, especially one honoring our veterans, without which, none of us would be here enjoying the freedoms we have. Freedom isn't free. Sacrifices have paid for our freedoms. We forget that sometimes. Thanks for reminding us.
