I receive a letter about the installation of the new smart meter.A guy comes to my door to let me know he is about to intall it and my power will go off for a while. I said ok, that's fine. Its just a new meter box.... Hang on... (has something slipped through my radar? I'm getting a bad sense from this!) Days later I ask myself what this is: It's connected on the 3G network... like cell phones- when connected they radiate...not good for you!! These new smart meteres constantly radiate- in intervals, all the time! The WHOLE neighborhood has it. So it won't do any good if you refuse one, at least not entirely. We now LIVE in a soup of radiation. Fantastic. Everyone willingly accepted the installation of a transmitter, that uses GSM and 3G. It's a communication system using broadband, every home is to be "connected"... Under the guise of an electricity meter, surely that it's not only set-up for that reason? I'm not the paranoid type, but THIS is more than what it appears to me, I know it within my core. Time to get off the grid, leave the soup! I think we will sell up soon and move away. I just have to. I feel like internal compass is spinning and I need to find a quiet place, free from EMF and other pollution, so my compass can find direction again. Is it a control measure? I believe it is. Very SMART indeed. ------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. People are happy they can monitor their usage, and yes it seems rather GREEN. But I am more concerned about the health impact and the big brother issue.------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. These wireless meters on every home and building will emit huge pulses of microwave radio frequency radiation as often as every few seconds throughout the day and night, seven days a week. The scientific evidence for biological impacts from microwave radiation, known for decades (remember the Moscow embassy) continues to grow with impacts such as DNA damage, increased risk of cancers and tumors, cellular stress, decreased melatonin, decreased sperm, cognitive difficulties and brain-wave alteration, heart rhythm disturbances, red blood cell clumping, and impacts on wildlife including to bees. Our FCC exposure standards only cover short-term thermal (heating) effects; they do not cover long-term or cumulative exposure, nor do they cover biological impacts (http://www.emrpolicy.org/litigation/case_law/docs/noi_epa_response.pdf )------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. They are doing it here also. It's a small device and is outside, so I think it's far less radiation than power lines already emit. I would definitely be scared to live near a cell tower, though. They say that they are doing it to prevent theft of elecricity, but I think they are really doing it to save manpower (they no longer have to pay someone to read the meter each month). I don't think it's a sinister thing. More like just modern technology catching up with greed and efficiency. ------------------ "Cooking is like love. Its also part of regulating the amount of power you are aloud to use. Like internet bandwidth! Tesla would throw a fraking fit over this rubbish! IP: Logged |

SunChild I don't think you are paranoid at all. I believe you are right on the money. The governments are getting sicker and sicker. I pray for the world everyday. It has begun. IP: Logged |

Once I heard about the uprisings in Egypt and now this, the world is going to change and fast. I feel eerily calm though. I don't know why, maybe in part because I know what is to come? Follow what you know in your heart to be true.IP: Logged |
