I just finished watching The Stepfather. I don't know why people didn't like it. I thought it was okay. It had some moments of suspense. What good horror movies have you seen? Or movies that kept you in suspense?------------------ "Everything I eat has been proved by some doctor or other to be a deadly poison, and everything I don't eat has been proved to be indispensable for life. I saw The Ring 2 in Atlanta. I was driving home and was on a dark highway, and we saw a group of deer on the side of the road (which was odd, to say the least). Remember the scene in the movie? I had two chicks in the car, and I threatened to stop the car there, and they went crazy screaming for me to drive faster. ------------------ "Everything I eat has been proved by some doctor or other to be a deadly poison, and everything I don't eat has been proved to be indispensable for life. I liked it, but the ending was lame.------------------ "Everything I eat has been proved by some doctor or other to be a deadly poison, and everything I don't eat has been proved to be indispensable for life. But I go marching on."--George Bernard Shaw IP: Logged |

Ghost Ship creeps me out. Well, these might not be suspenseful for some, (and some are old) but I still get cranked up/nail biting. Knowing Triangle Hide and Seek Constantine Pretty Bones The Prestiege Air Force One The Others Minority Report Road to Perdition V for Vendetta One Hour Photo The Stand The Core Mission to Mars Pitch Black In Dreams Ring of Fire I Robot The Day After Tomorrow Volcano Space Cowboys The Body The Fugitive The Arrival The 13th. Floor Dark City Sin City The Day The Earth Stood Still War of the Worlds Gattica The Saint The Talented Mr. Ripley Red Dragon Many more; will add to list later.

I thought The Others' ending was a rip off of the Bruce Willis one. I loved The Crazies! How could I not? Most of the women I've attracted in the distant past have fit the bill. Mirrors was good. I liked Daybreakers, because it was a unique slant on vamps.------------------ "Everything I eat has been proved by some doctor or other to be a deadly poison, and everything I don't eat has been proved to be indispensable for life. Hmmmmm......I do not see it as that. The theme is quite common and old in paranormal research and the what and wherefores of the trapped or delusional souls. Intentional ripoff? I doubt it. Stir of Echoes, Lady in White.... so many stories of such phenomenon. It is a very ancient concept.IP: Logged |

The shock "surprise" ending wasn't as impacting having been done once before. ------------------ "Everything I eat has been proved by some doctor or other to be a deadly poison, and everything I don't eat has been proved to be indispensable for life. I still want to see Saw 3-D. Sounds like I want to seesaw in 3D. Haha! I thought Hostel 2 was even better than the first, and the first was excellent. Nice twist at the end, and it had way more gore.------------------ "The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today.
