A friend told me about this today and I have hardly taken my eyes off it.

There is a webcam on an aerie in Iowa. The eggs were laid at the end of February. There is one eaglet that hatched last night and two that are still eggs.

It is amazing watching those beautiful and enormous Momma and Poppa eagles tending so gently and attentively to a baby that's just a squeeky little powder puff the size of their beak.

Granted, there's not a lot of action but you'll find yourself checking back constantly to see if you can see the baby or if the eggs are hatching.

Actually, I'm a knowflake from way back, I hadn't been here in a few years. I got thinking about Linda the other day and came back to see if you all were still here and tried to sign in and no dice. Then I found out you got hacked a couple years ago but I was told I could reregister under my old name (YAY!) .

Yes we did!

I tend to get busy or distracted by other things and fade away from here - and then, from time to time, Linda calls to me and I make my way back here. And, I just love that I recognize so many names when I make it back. This is such a great place with such positive energy. I can't ever figure how I let myself wander away in the first place.
