i'm not totally anti-tv anymore, but still don't watch much of it.

Here's some of the junk I like to watch:

Bethany Ever After (love her & her and her husband's relationship, he's so sweet and funny)
Chelsea Lately (watching Chelsea now) & After Lately
Swamp People
Ghost Adventures

and you?....

Ghost Adventures is a little too melodramatic for me, and I often find it downright bombastic. I prefer Paranormal State and Ghost Hunters. Paranormal State takes a more holistic approach and Ghost Hunters takes a more shrewd scientific angle.

I'm currently watching:
Trailer Park Boys
The League of Gentlemen
American Pickers
Pawn Stars
Antiques Roadshow
River Monsters

Oh, yeah, Dexter is fantastic.

And I forgot the Daily Show and Colbert Report, both great.

Never heard of any of the above listed

Ive' watched a few of these
jamie at home
bizzare foods
man vs. wild
banged up abroad
i shouldn't be alive
face jacker <--- hahahahahha
and various doccos

Don't really watch dramas except this one at the moment:

boardwalk empire
I also watch the ultimate fighter with my husband some reality MMA show.

but I'm usually sitting next to him reading when tv is on, still have unfinished books that I'm LOVING...

...but sometimes it's good to sit back like a vegetable and stare at the screen and say, 'ok, entertain me'....
very rarely it succeeds unless I download something and watch it...

Maybe i'm more suited to Apple Tv or something where you can download and stream your own stuff.

Juni, i must check that show out now. The lines cracked me up! & yes, Troy's the man.

Hi Scorpionic Web! I forgot about some of those. Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Antiques Roadshow...yep, yep

& i agree about Ghost Adventures being a bit melodramatic. Kind of what makes it funny. The only time I was impressed is when the brick in the basement lifted up off the ground and flew out of nowhere. I'll check out the others when I find out what channel theyre on.

Dee...lol

Like SC, I don't like dramas either. Stick to "reality" non-fiction TV.

another fun one is "What Not to Wear" Love to see how they are able to transform people after taking away their clothes and teaching them how to dress for their figure & put on make-up etc. Always a happy ending.

Willing to bet my exes would say i'm just like Bethanny (at times). And that's why i love her - she's normal. She's an awesome mom too. She's sharp and hilarious. Best part is her boyfriend loves her more for it & doesnt go whimpering away. He plays with her. He eats it up, takes her in stride and cracks up at her melodramatic, neurotic antics and barbs. I have to know what their sun signs are....

missed this episode, but it's classic Bethanny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=987bfzrJ7g0

I want to be entertained when I watch tv. Very seldom do I watch educational or reality/documentary-style shows.

Dexter
Chuck
Castle
Psyche
White Collar
Community
30 Rock
The Mentalist
The Event
Damages
Mad Men
Breaking Bad (just started recording the original shows to watch)
Royal Pains

That's pretty much it. I catch very few of these in real time. I just set the DVR, and watch when I get a chance. Dexter I'm watching via Netflix. Up to season four now.

The Mentalist

I love Simon Baker! He has the whole shebang from funny clown to seriousness.
(his stunning blue eyes are a plus too)

Stawr:

The MTV version of Skins is a scene-for-scene rip-off of the British version from about 4 years ago. The new American production is junk by comparison. If you have Netflix, check out the British version of Skins Seasons 1 through 3, it's available for immediate viewing so you don't have to add it to your queue (Plus you'll know ahead of time what MTV plans to do for Seasons 2 and 3).

The British version is much better because the censorship isn't as uptight as it is on MTV and the whole point of Skins is to relatively "keep it real" with modern youth culture, so naturally, the less censored British version is going to be a better production.

I don't like most reality shows, and watch too many dramas. (I don't watch new comedies - haven't done for years.)

The Golden Girls
Medium
Ghost Hunters (occasionally)
I watched a couple of episodes of Body of Proof.
The Killing. (Need to watch the latest episode.)
I used to watch LOST, Battlestar Galactica, and I'm forgetting a few things.
House.
Off the Map (because of their location, mainly, and I liked the girl who named her pet chickens Dinner and Appetizer. (Sorry, but that amused me.)

I think my computer's going to go on me, again. :/
The Closer - I love that show.
Grey's Anatomy, although it isn't good anymore.
I started to watch the Gilmore Girls, but didn't get very far.
I keep hearing about The Good Wife, and how great it is.

Hi teasel!

I watched the Good Wife for about a season. I felt it never went anywhere and was a rehash of any soap you pick. I love

Juliana Margulies tho and she`s why I gave it a try.

Oh yes I want to see the British version, and no I don't have anything cool like netflicks.
Ugh, and I'm so mad that I can't watch stuff on youtube anymore "cause its copy written!..." Really? that ruins the whole point of youtube almost. I'm not going to buy a movie or a show unless I know I like it. I use to watch this one movie all the time on youtube and then I finally bought it at a store. I will only risk buying a movie/show I don't know I like if its in the $5 bin at wallmart or big lots. lol

There's a few, Supernatural was one, I haven't watched after season 5 though. Grey's Anatomy & The Office were also other shows I enjoyed but no longer follow. Dwight Schrute will always be the sh!t, guys hilarious.

The Vampire Diaries, & Dancing with the Stars are the current ones I'm watching.
