This isn't for sympathy, attention, or even for response (response is of course welcome, but I am not expecting or asking for it).It may not make a lot of sense. But, I just want to apologise to anyone on Lindaland that I may have upset. There isn't a bone in my body that wishes to hurt another human being, but I am I not yet wise enough to always prevent this happening - that is a flaw that I accept, and am very much working on. So, without discussion, or excuse, if I have upset or hurt you in anyway, I just want to say sorry. I have no defense other than my ignorance, which I will endeavour harder to fix. IP: Logged |

When I was a computer and internet newbie in March 2005, I made so many netiquette mistakes. I feel I have made great progress in learning how to get along with the wide diversity of folks I have met/encountered online. I feel that one important thing is to never assume when communicating online. Ask for clarification! We do not have those physical cues, the body language, and tone of voice when communicating by text only. Thank you Lexx. Yes, it is difficult to portary yourself accurately with only words on a screen, and even harder to interpret others. I gain so much information from people's faces. But I guess this is just another area to grow, which can never be a bad thing.IP: Logged |

Sorry Juniper,It's based partially on a feeling, and some other stuff that it would be disrespctful to go into. I know many people speak out when they are upset, but there are many that don't, so I guess I'm trying to cover all, and hope that those this applies to see it. I haven't the cash to buy any new books yet, but I should do in a couple of weeks, and Linda is top of my list IP: Logged |

Generally you can buy Linda`s books at ebay for a song. Scout around there and see whats offered No worries, we`re all family here and like families, someone is bound to get offended at one time or another. If you did, I`m sure they are smart or kind enough to see your sincerety and let it go ------------------ Submit to Love without thinking, as the sun rose this morning recklessly, extinguishing our star-candled minds. You're welcome! Yes, without those visual cues it is hard at times. And without all the information on others. For example; when I have had mini-strokes and or neurological episodes; I forget how to speak and type. I can sometimes still copy cut paste. My mind is fine but body and mind do not speak to each other properly. I have been treated very cruelly by folks at times because they do not understand and some think I was faking for attention. People would say if I was that ill I should not be posting or should be in bed or whatever. Well that is very bad advice in my situation. During such times it imperative to keep trying to type, keep trying to talk, and communicate in any way possible, because going to bed can make things worse! Hospital can do nothing to help, one must just try to stay alert and ride out the storm. If they saw me in person and knew how such brain body glitches affect a person, perhaps they would better understand. The same goes for joking taken seriously. I often do not understand joking/sarcasm/humour, even when I can see the person. However in person it is much easier because their body language and tone of voice will tell me to not overreact because it may be they are teasing or joking. Oh so much more difficult to determine intention when only communicating by text.------------------ ~I remember, therefore I am immortal~LEXX ~The present time is theirs, but the future is mine.~Никола Тесла }><}}('>~ IP: Logged |

Well you haven't upset me - just so ya know but I understand that it's hard to know sometimes, especially when you're a bit sensitive to vibes which a lot of us here are. There's a part of me that cringes when I think I might have said something out of line but then I've got merc square mars and I've realised I'm gonna cause disruption from time to time. It's not done deliberately, I've just got these really annoying bits of my character that force me to communicate excessively and I can't help but share my opinion. The net has taught me to be way more tolerant than I thought I ever could be. IP: Logged |

You must gain so much strength through your troubles Lexx. I think we can often take things like communication for granted, until we don't have it anymore, you are very inspiring. IP: Logged |

That I am happy about! Hmm that's interesting about the aspect. I have Mercury square PLuto, so perhaps I am not as clear as I could be in my communication, maybe a bit vague which can appear as 'hidden' and cause suspicion? Just a thought. IP: Logged |

Thank you for the understanding and lovely compliments! I sometimes come perilously close to crumbling and giving up; but somehow I find a way to keep swimming! Yes, I wish folks could better appreciate that they can always see, speak, walk, talk, and feel. It is terrifying and or depressing those times when I cannot.
