Randall,

I've been having a hard time posting on the PP board this morning. When I finally posted a new post on the Festive Readings string, and I saw it there, it proceeded to get vanished a few minutes later and an older version of it which I had been trying to post earlier showed up!
On Lexxie's reading string in the same PP forum, my posts about her P Venus and her response which I saw last night, have disappeared.
I'm in a hurry to leave right now but I thought I'd give you a quick heads up.

Yes,
several ?
posts vanished from my thread.
I re-posted without the pretty formatting,
all the missing ones I could find,
and closed that thread and began a new one.

Somehow it re-opened after I closed it and
another post vanished.

I re-closed it.

The server is running fast, so posting delays might have been your internet lagging. About the vanishing posts, what it's doing is when it updates the string, it is going backwards to an earlier version. Thankfully, it's rare. But I just need to figure out why it does it.

Randall, about the posting delays, I guarantee you it was not my internet lagging. I was able to post on different LL forums when I gave up for a few minutes on that string and the speed was good there! Same board (LL), different forum, different string, same time frame, no problem! I wrestled for about 30min with the "Festive reading" post on the PP forum while going back and forth to other forums and posting there too (I type fast so I do do that).

The other thing is I LOST the post I saw posted several minutes AFTER it was posted. Completely vanished. It is going backwards as you say. I know because I tried to post two different posts and, at first, the first one would lag and hung and delay and never get posted, then I tried the second one and would lag again but would finally post, BUT then the second one vanished after several minutes after being posted AND the
very first one which I was unable to see posted, would POST!! It's spooky! LOL

No problems this morning (knock on wood!).
But I haven't been working on a really long string so IDK. I think the length of the string could also be a factor here.

It happens briefly on a string or two, and then it stops for long intervals. Still trying to narrow down what the problem is.
