Has anyone here ever not had a broken bone? I hear that's rare. I haven't. For that matter, I've never been admitted to a hospital (Does a mental hospital count? j/k). And I've never had blood drawn either. I don't even know what my blood type is.

I've only fractured a wrist, when I fell on it while going hunting for candy one Halloween (no light on the porch and missed a few steps on the way down). Too bad my parents didn't spring for the neon cast..
However, I have to say, I loved the smell of that thing But after 2 mos the itchiness started to grate on me.
I do not recall a hospital stay, save for giving birth....pretty much blessed with great health.
Guess you haven't donated blood? That's how I found out my type.

Nope, but I saw a friend give blood once and turned white as a corpse. Never seen such a transformation like that so quickly. I thought I witnessed a death. Lying down and some OJ and cookies, and the color came back.

Knock on wood- not broken a bone, and the thought terrifies me. Let's just say I never want to either.
I have had blood drawn. Eep. No real hospital stays either. I've had babies.... that doesn't count. Two of them were with midwives so it was pretty natural. For the most part...

Well, it's never been officially confirmed that I've had a broken bone. I messed up my finger pretty badly once but never got it checked out, so it very well could have been broken.

I had to get blood work done when I was in high school because I was on Accutane. (I'd rather have kept the acne than deal with that evil medication.) Every time I would go to the lab to get blood taken I would come close to passing out.

I've had two ER visits: one sprained ankle and once for kidney stones; the latter of which I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

I once sprained my ankle and that hurt like hell. God help the nurses who have to help me if I ever break a bone. Ill be screaming like a banchy giving birth to the devil.

I've had my blood sampled too many times. My dad's a doctor so every year he'll drag me to the ER to get it done for free. I'm usually a little bit dehydrated. I actually don't know what blood type I am.

me tooo! glad you are fine, actually more than fine to have never been exposed to these things!!

me, i fractured my elbow when i got hit by a train as a kid. (yep i'm invincible)

i had to get my blood tested numerous times in my life, a lot being the requirements for health evaluation at schools. what disturbed me the most was all the other kids who would cry and faint because they were so afraid of either getting shots or blood drawn, i was like, it takes 3 seconds, get over it... i was a sober kid.

unfortunately when i was old enough to give blood, they turned me away saying i'm too tiny for it. but overall, i've been healthy, and i'm thankful for that!

ive had my nose & skull broken&cracked twice .once when i was 13 in a truck flying towards the windshield my best friend threw up her knee and my face smashed into her knee ,missing the windshield. ...my nose was a bit crooked untill i was 33 and i got jumped and punched twice in the face .the second punch i heard my face crack and the gunshots .my angels are huge i can say that much about missing the bullets.anyhow that guy popped my nose back in place after all those years .i dont do doctors or hospitals no. and the most blood ive had drawn were the two instances above and when i ripped my lil toe nearly clean off it was hanging by a piece of skin and bone. my friends dragged my to the hospital ! i was so upset. i knew i could heal it myself. the doctor believed me after i told him i know how to heal. he told me he wished more people walked barefoot more and that i had great feet but since i was already there why not stich me up. he went to numb my foot and i said no way he sitched my toe back on sent me away w about 15 lil tools lol two stiches came out in my sleep and i took the rest out in the morning i couldnt stand have something in my skin ! no piercings no tattoos. the worse thing ive ever witnessed in my entire life was my son spiral fracturing his femur when he was 3 . his leg wasnt even attached it was hanging there. he had broke his femur 3 months before hand and we were seeing help . after the second break we found the shriners ! he was in a nation wide study for unicameral bone cysts. a fluid cyst that eats the marrow out of you bones making it hollow . he had six surgeries and six full body casts between the ages 3 and 5 . wheelchairs andcrutches. i was fulltime mother nurse teacher and friend and thru prayers and miracles my so is 6 foot 1 at age 15 and is inthe maters program at the community college the top of all his classes and the kindest soul i know. thru love all is healed. thank you for being here to let me tell this story .i needed to remember how blessed i am !

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

Never had a broken bone. Never had headaches, or cramps. Always thought the no broken bones thing was normal. I was almost, never without a bruise growing up (the abuse and all) but nothing ever broke (that I know of lol). In fact, I enjoyed pressing on the bruises to watch the color change with the pressure. Was a weird kid.

Oh.. I was in the emergency room before. Had a asthma attack when I got sick, couldn't breathe, felt like I had a inch of air to breathe in. The inhalers wasn't working so I started to cry lol. My bro called 911. They gave me some type of salty tasting stuff to breathe in once I got inside the ambulance. Cleared it up almost instantly.

So glad no asthma today.

I fell from the top of a hill onto a small pile of bricks as a kid, broke my arm in three places. Broke my nose on a go-kart steering wheel when I ran into a tree at full speed (accident).

I had surgery a few years ago to repair some of the damage from that accident, septoplasty

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Septoplasty

I was glad to get the splints out of my nose and to be finished with the nasal cleaning that has to be done afterwards.

Also had stitches on both sides of my pelvis and thigh as also. (infant surgery to the pelvis area due to double hernias)

Countless bumps and bruises, sprains, headaches, nosebleeds, dehydration etc etc.

-A broken bone will wake you up, that disturbing feeling of the bone breaking inside you. CRACK! POP

I am glad that happened along time ago, It is not something I want to keep fresh in mind.

Had asthma in my youth, I also wore a doctor recommended pendant with my blood type on it. I am RH Neg but I cannot recall which type.

Never broken a bone. Staved fingers, and a toe though.

Been admitted to hospital for mental issues, never physical, unless you count pregnancy complications and childbirth.

Had loads of blood drawn through pregnancy, mental stuff, hormonal stuff, skin stuff.
I'm B neg.

never broke a bone *knocks on wood, but i sprained quite a few fingers playing basketball as a teen, i hit my right pinkie back when i was 10 or something and it looks weird, like a major dent or something.

i donated blood a few times (once to our local children's cancer center), my BT is A+ not that rare but it always can come in handy. i can donate easily never felt dizy or light headed no color change or anything just fill up a pint take my juice box and off i go..

had blood tests like 100 times

had a couple of x-rays,

--Randall, you should go do some tests, trust me when it comes to your own health its always good to be in the loop..
