For years I have heard that one must pray for their enemies and I guess understanding never caught with me or something.I just recently had two ANTI-Cynnared people in my life change their tone with me and now talk to me and are now overall nice. I became happy because I saw that they are at peace now with me. Their view of me has changed. Yet there is this one soul who loathes my existence and now I guess I can pray that he finds peace within over matters and for him to move past it before it's too late. I think some people in the world dwell in a living hell and it is no use in holding grudges and not forgiving because life is short and I know for myself, I don't want to take any baggage into the spirit world. So you pray that their hell ends inside for them and hope for peace and love. IP: Logged |

Yeah, except I've noticed that these people usually do not believe in the "spirit world", and so they don't care about forgiving or holding grudges. I don't feel I have "enemies" (in the true sense of the word) but I do wish some people behaved to me in a more loving way when it mattered in my life (e.g. family members).
The people I cannot get along with at all (and God knows I've tried) are those who don't understand how important it is for everyone's peace of mind to resolve their basic differences before death is there. So yeah I forgive easily but I forgive for ME, not for them. What they do with their soul (or not) is their business and frankly after trying until my face turned blue I know I can do absolutely nothing to help them. Your post hit close home. Thank you. Your welcome! I enjoyed what you had to say. Around 60% of the population don't believe in stuff like that. 20% just plain refuse to believe it and the other 20% believe in it.

Yeah, isn't it sad?
I mean I can't connect with these people at all. It's like they and I are in two different planets. I could ignore them but family isn't easy to ignore.  IP: Logged |

It is sad and there is nothing can be done. Connection is important with anybody. Maybe it is my hopeful Venus in Pisces that wishes there was peace amongst all.......and grudges are a waste of time.

We actually get taught this at my church. It's hard to do, but it really is amazing when you can do it and the other person changes for the better in his/her behavior towards you. It's a beautiful thing and a true joy when that happens.------------------
