Every so often I use to watch the show, Blanche was always my favorite, with Rose being my second with her silly tales of St Oliff and quirky nature.

OH I couldn't stand Rose most of the time!!! LOL.

I've watched them since I was 11 (die hard fan.) and always thought I was a little bit of Blanche and Dorothy.

I love Betty White now though, she's amazing.

^I love how Dorothy would get frustrated at Rose, and put her in perspective, especially after one her kooky stories. The banter between them is so funny lol.

Havent seen that show in forever. Yeah, I agree, it's a feel-good show to watch. Old people are my favorite.

I like them better than babies.

ps.....anyone know why Betty White has become so popular these days? I see her name in the headlines alot and noticed there was some Betty White Special on tv recently (i didnt tune in). People are crazy about her it seems. Did I miss something? What has she done? Or is it just because she's adorable? ......???

She had THE GREATEST facial expressions. It said everything she wanted to say without having to speak a word! I copied it and now all my friends think I'm hysterical, haha.

T,

She has been in several movies and appeared at award shows being HILARIOUS and classy so she has garnered a lot of interest and respect lately. I don't think it was one specific event, she's just still kicking and doing it with style for a 90 year old lady!!

The special you mentioned is a prank show she hosts with elderly people playing pranks on camera to a bunch of young people. SO inappropriate but so funny!!

AH-HA!

It all makes sense now! LOL

Yeah, hilarious and classy and still kickin' it at 90. Got to give props for that.

I will have to check out that show sometime.
