My impression is that Heathcliff's Corner is for PETS more than animals in general, but if I'm wrong I won't take offense if it's moved.I just wanted to share something someone showed me as it's perhaps one of the best things to share with those who say animals don't have feelings. However, it's poignant and sad, pix of a bird who tended a dying mate and then grieved upon her death (just saying for those who'd rather not see). http://www.lightchasers.us/5844/a-bird-story/ I also saw a very sad, poignant vid of 2 feral cats, one ran over and it seemed obvious to me that the feral cat understood and grieved...it's so sad I don't want to find it again. That is so touching and sad, he was tending to his mate, all beings have feelings. Just because us humans cant understand their way of comunicating, they are still capable of emotion IP: Logged |

Thankyou for this delicate story, Pixie Jane... These birds are sooo incredibly tiny.... The action was so private...but the agony and pain and love reverberating send surreal shockwaves that move way past its moment in photo time. Such a miracle and a message for us in times right now. What a synchronicity and Chance.... It moves beyond -- a blast through the black vast spaces of the universe.... The ethers in the core of our Heart. IP: Logged |
