love the pics.

Nature can be pretty spooky,
Howz about screaming flowers?

Or a volcanic landscape on Iceland?

Kids are still so cute at Halloween, though the costumes had brighter colors and wear more things that glow and sparkle from when I was a kid (a safety feature to be seen easier by drivers at night?). So many princesses, ladybugs, superheroes as always among the smaller kids and most of them so polite (but I guess free candy puts them in a good mood, and perhaps the fear that the adults with them might take it away and them home if they're not so well behaved...)

The teens were more daring and scary in their costumes but the teen Halloween party I stopped at for a short while was pleasant (and hokey fun) but I resisted the temptation to linger more than a few minutes. I think next year I'm going to host a teen Halloween party (as I have for smaller kids before).

Hope everyone had a great Halloween! We had some trick or treaters this year at our new place which took us off guard since we didnt get any in our old neighborhood. We will have plenty of candy next time, as we only had a few pieces of some dark Belgium chocolate.

My hubby an I went to two different haunted places, one that was fun/pretend haunted an one that was suppose to be really haunted. First one was the called The Killers, its a house themed on famous killers, you walk through each room and creepy looking actors put on a skits of terror. It was fun but not really too scary.

The second haunted place was the Pennsylvania State Penitentiary, we got to see the cell where they kept Al Capone. The energy of this place was too overwhelming, walking around made me very nervous. It has a thick depressing aura, at some point I got cold goosebumps crawling up my arm and then I knew it was time to leave
