What are some jobs/career areas where one would use a lot of investigative skill? BESIDES law and police work. I'm very good at investigating all sorts of info and I derive a lot of satisfaction from it. But law and police work are out of the question for me for personal reasons. Just curious what you guys think these skills could be applied to! IP: Logged |

Pretty much all fields require some kinds of thinking and Investigative, unless its a McJob.Earth Science --------------- Earth Science is my minor. There's a lot of connecting the dots. You use the history of the past to solve the future. For example I want to look for Shale oil, off topic Shale oil is abundant everywhere. There is no scarcity. Just not enough extraction and its expensive. Well Historical were does Ancient Marine organisms live. So I start looking for areas where former Ocean-Land boundaries are. Then the rest follows. Geology is out of the question for me 5yrs+ experience to be certified or earn a phD. IP: Logged |

You could find missing pets. One guy used to charge so much, to send out postcards with the pet's name, picture, and other information on it. Sherlock Bones, I think he called himself. IP: Logged |
