Is there any way that we can talk to other members here in private? I mean like sending them a message? I don't mean as in trying to date or hookup. I just mean to talk to them in general. There are a few people here who read my charts and I enjoyed interacting with them. Is there anyway we can connect members directly?IP: Logged |

Perhaps you could all agree to join another astrology board (or any board) that allows PM? You could still come here, and as along as the other one has automatic notification (careful of all the malware disguised as notification) then it should work as well. It could even just be temporary, long enough to exchange FB or email info. LL is run on an old software mode ("a Scorpio kicking it old school"  ) that has seen very little in the way of upgrades. That's why it's free for us to use with only a minimal number of ads (as opposed to endless popups, tracking software, and plenty of other unpleasant experiences on the more modern boards that you can use for "free"). Astro.com's board allows private messages. You need to wait 24 hours after signing up, and post once, to have access to PM's. Not trying to chase people away from here - just adding to Pixie's comment above. IP: Logged |

Pixie, I installed adblockplus and have no ads anywhere.

The thing with joining FB groups is being approached by / friend requested by people who get all stalker-y. I had to leave the LL FB group because of that. I had to block some guy who kept messaging me over & over "Hey -- I'm a Leo. I'm a Leo boy. You like Leo boy?" and other such things...You can more easily maintain a certain level of anonymity on forums (no real name required like on FB, less likely to post pictures of yourself, etc.). ------------------

I never have been stalked by someone in the LL FB group.I have found it to be totally safe, just to give my opinion.------------------
