Today my question is this
How do I convince my parents that life is a life long learning process without seeming ignorant myself?
Yes, I do say the f word when angered. That does not mean I am any less intelligent. Because I know I am intelligent I am free to express myself. Because they feel inferior they won't let me be my socially inadequate self. I've always been a little bit defiant. That's in my nature. I'm a freaking aquarius Saturn MC.
Point blank

The college I want to go to IS A LOT OF MONEY. It's a private school. They actually teach you and make sure you become the best you possible. There's no extra fluff and wasting your time with the itty gritty useless details that you most likely won't need to apply. I mean for experience purposes it would seem as if I should care about those things because details are an important factor but above all knowledge is the culprit. Knowledge gets you from point A to point B.
My way of achieving that knowledge is different. They need to understand that. I want to spend all of the money they gave me on a two year program so I can have a future. He's telling me he spent half of what I spent when meanwhile he struggled with emotional progblems, depression, loneliness and lack of a good financial income.

It hurts me to say these things. That's the message I'm communicating. I'm not trying to be negative, it just is. And what I want will work for me. I'm the future I will be able to successfully use my knowledge because I will fall in love with the practice and be able to implement it daily and save numerous lives. The entire scenario is absurd and disenheartening. To me.

So my question to you is this.
What do I do to stop it?

I recommend you read "Your Erroneous Zones" by Dr. Wayne Dryer. This book is going to help you immensely and help you with your parents. All the best.

I will! Thank you.
I now take allergy medicine which I feel will help me read books in real life. Because I love animals and I want to be a nurse but the truth doesn't make sense with everyone so somehow my Dad is convinced my house has termites and I'm too smart to keep being stupid so I will just go with the flow and adjust to my randomness I suppose.

I am not going to that college anymore now I'm going to one that fits with my financial aid plan and my future. Alls well that ends well, I guess.
