I did not see it in any signs or anything when my second ex made a very similar proposal. It was so very beautiful! I ended up divorcing him several years later when I found out he was/is a pedophile. No mother and child should have to endure that. A lovely proposal like that and a sweet seeming man; does not mean he is automatically a good guy. They know how to play the "game". I have known others who had the same kind of thing happen; more than the ones that worked out fine. So my apologies for inserting gloom into this thread, but my experiences and of others makes me cringe every time I hear one of these beautiful proposals. All were very lovely and seemed so very perfect! But....yeah....were not.
