My all time fave song is Leather and Lace by him and legendary Stevie Nicks. It appears it isn`t confirmed but life support is not a positive thing. I love Tom Petty ------------------

Seems we boomers are the only ones to recognise the sad loss. Jason Aldean, the singer on stage at the fesitval in Las Vegas, did a tribute to the victims, their families and Tom Petty. He sang I Won`t Back Down to them 
(It was on SNL) ------------------
