I'm interested in learning about the astrology of weather and weather/land-related disasters and want recommendations for books on astrometeorology and predicting weather via astrology.IP: Logged |

We had an old thread on that topic in Astro2.0 a long time ago. Some links you can explore. - http://www.kimfarnell.co.uk/weather2.htm - http://www.kimfarnell.co.uk/weather1.htm Here is a list of articles analyzing past storms. - http://astrologyexplored.net/home/?cat=961 I think I remember that The Mountain Astrologer Magazine had done articles on weather. (Sorry-- I don't have an index.) (If you get yourself an electronic subscription with them, you'd probably be able to do an archive search.) IP: Logged |

Thanks Randall.... I guess the OP saw the info, and took what they wanted. There are new books published on that topic now. If OP would buy recent copy of The Mountain Astrologer (Feb/Mar) they could read the reviews. Oh well.... Ooh thank you for the Mountain Astrologer recommendation! Here in Southern California it's been rainy and cold the past few days and I assumed that it was caused astrologically by the plethora of planets in WATERY Pisces. Obviously that's pretty basic (when a ton of planets are in AIR signs it'd be a blustery, windy day and when there are a ton of FIRE planets it'd be hot and dry outside etc), but I know there's more to weather than the fact that when many planets are in a certain element the weather corresponding to that element would be seen in most places in the world since even though here in SoCal the buildup of planets in watery Pisces has indeed caused rain and wet weather, this isn't so in other parts of the world where it isn't raining or even that cold at all right now. I think what's most interesting to me about astrometeorology is that when a buildup of planets are in a certain element there definitely are parts of the world that experience weather of that element (when a ton of planets are transiting in air signs it's usually windy), but there are other parts of the world where there isn't that weather at all.IP: Logged |

Yes, isn't it kind of supernatural how astrology can apply to one person's life, or/and, ripple out to communities, nations, and the world-itself.Asteroid 3 Juno is associated with the atmosphere-- weather climate meteorology storms quality of environment clean and pure air ref. Demetra George & Douglas Bloch Asteroid Goddesses - http://www.demetra-george.com/resources/books - http://www.amazon.com/Asteroid-Goddesses-Mythology-Psychology-Re-Emerging/dp/0892540826 7437 Torricelli - http://markandrewholmes.com/torricelli.html There are other asteroids that can be used too-- including 'name' of storms and 'name' of city, state, etc
