Out of the mouths of babes: a whole new way of categorizing people?
My daughter asked me today: “You know that question that’s always in your mind? When you look around at stuff and wonder about it, do you wonder what, or how, or why?”
Mostly I’m a ‘how’, but when it comes to people I lean towards ’why?’

Great question.

Well I'm a pretty even mix of metaphysical and scientific.

My head asks 'how?' my heart asks 'why?'. They argue. all. the. bloody. time.

I'm "none of the above" or "other." I usually think: WTF?

Haha! I like that answer Randall. I usually leave out the Why or the What and just say TF?! I am sure anyone that might hear me say that can probably tell if the W is a why or a what situation. :-P

Some why questions can be answered throught google.

Other questions, you'd most likely end up just getting a graduate degree being the only one who knows the answer.

Other why questions may never have an exact answer..why did my Female Tabby Cat, Georgina suddenly get throat cancer and pass away so quickly.

I really loved and miss my cat. I still feel guilty for not listening to her more she was intutive with me and I think she was trying to hint something was wrong.

So here’s how I think about it: for example, why is a drop of water round? To minimize the surface:volume ratio. How does a drop of water form? Much more interesting and complicated answer that’s largely beyond my comprehension. Why is a root shaped the way it is? To maximize the surface:volume ratio for most efficient water absorption. Anyway, with most things the how and the why are obviously intimately connected. That’s always seemed to be less obviously true of people.

I always look for the meaning, i.e., why.
