Not feeling so good :/ I am pretty good with public speaking (which is why I was invited to do this in the first place) but when it comes to training people, I still don't have that experience/expertise and I should've been more honest about my capabilities when thinking about accepting this offer or not.

Anyone wants to cheer me up please Inspirational stuff, funny stuff, whatever....

Not only would that be boring, but we wouldn't grow much at all. It is the challenge, difficult stuff, friction, testing, and suffering that helps us to grow and improve, especially at a deeper Soul level.

Try to look at this as such a stepping stone.

Coming from a pragmatic Cap Sun and Merc with Virgo N.Node, Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn, but spiritual/big picture background of angular Pisces South Node and combo of strong Jupiter and Neptune.

When you can, let go of the stinger. As it comes back, let go again.
You know, probably barely a 'few' of them will remember what happened, (if they perceived anything) past today.

Chalk it up to Experience, and Self-Learning.

You've done public speaking before!
That's 'why' you were invited to speak.
You added that this more-challenging level of group was your "first" time experience.

"I should've been more honest about my capabilities"...

You used the word "honest?"
I looked up the word,
and this was one of the meanings of the word 'honest'--

googled
"(of an action) blameless or well-intentioned..
even if unsuccessful or misguided.
example:
"he'd made an honest mistake"

How would you have known----
This was your FIRST time..
You could NOT know what-you-didn't know, until you actually stepped up and did it! (Now) you found out that this NEW level of lectures you'll be doing (in the future) may require a different approach or tact.
And too, maybe you have a better assessment of self?
NO harm in that, one bit.
This (IF it is) may give you a more solid sense inside you. You know your limits. That is an important piece of information to have.

There's a "rest" (peacefulness) when in reality you know where your competencies lie. To your superiors, this may actually be perceived as a strength-- that a man knows 'how' to define what they can or cannot do (yet), and are able to verbalize or indicate-so. *heart* There is STILL room for advancement. It's not the end of what you can and will do in the future.

And.. You GREW today! ..
And that's a GOOD Thing in 'your' Development, yes?

Think about your other many presentations.
Notice --
Did EVERY 'gathering of souls' have the same tone and experience for you?
Each group has its own collective personality.
. .
Some were a 'fun' crowd.
Others were 'tough'.
Some are open, others seem more closed.

I smile thinking about standup-comics openly telling the group that they were a 'tough crowd' for not laughing at jokes!! *grin*

Go Easy on You!!! *hug*

Was there a 'trigger' that went off inside you at the point where you said you began to fumble?
It might NOT have been as open and apparent as you thought?
And!, this might NOT have 'ended' as badly as you think it did? Could have been the result of your private subjective impression, rather than true of the overall performance...?

Perhaps the group was "full" --
(had taken in the 1st half-hour WELL)
and you unconsciously perceived their need to 'digest' at that point?

BTW...
CONGRATULATIONS on having your 'First' Experience!! Yes..
New Level!! (new devil) new accomplishments up ahead.. Woot-woot.

Create a new branch, upload some code onto your github account...you'll feel better seeing lots of commits and progress.

Needing to sort and re-purpose things of our past experiences is bittersweet. Sounds like a Saturn transit? One of those quarter-turn looks at life, and values.

Sometimes things DO get stale, that in the past would have been a go-to for refreshing. It comes time and okay to put those things aside. Part of Development.

Aww thanks mirage <3 I'm in a very karmic period in my life, a lot of transitions. Ended a relationship for the better (transit Uranus in 7th house), transit Pluto and Saturn currently in my 3rd.
