According to a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, and founder of The Pink Pagoda Girls:

quote:
I have just been informed by a former senior military leader that Obama is using a new "litmus test" in determining who will stay and who must go in his military leaders. Get ready to explode folks. "The new litmus test of leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not". Those who will not are being removed.

As for the claim, I liked Intelhub's view on it:
http://theintelhub.com/2013/01/22/jim-g arrow-inside-source-claims-that-obama-only-wants-military-leaders-who-will-fire-on-u-s-citizens/

quote:
This is one of those stories that is good to approach with caution and take with a grain of salt, because we have not yet been able to get any solid documentation to verify these claims.

However, this information is coming from credible sources so it is definetly worth addressing and a good thing to get on the record, so further research can be done

But it seems like about every president was accused of something like this, at least in the last few decades, though when their terms pass then it's quickly forgotten as the next POTUS is the one people are worried about. And on that I'm of two minds, one, eternal paranoia wears thin, but two, eternal vigilance is absolutely necessary to making sure the paranoia stays in the mind and not in our real lives.

He is either a dangerous dictator, and you'll be right, or he's not, and you'll look like a fool, like when you predicted Romney's victory.

Time will tell.

In the meantime, you'll have been entertained, won't you?

While we could have been discussing other subjects touching politics. on an international scale...

Nevermind...

...

Why do you need freedom of speech? certainly not to discuss other topics than "awful Obama" and "we need more guns, yeaaaaaahhh, wasa!!!!"

You are so scared that you don't even realise that you are your worst ennemy. What if... And what if..

First let me tell you, it was ten years ago that you should have been worried of your freedom, when Bush passed laws to fight terrorism but only restricted people's right.
At that time you were cheering and repeating what you were being told, that it was for your own good. They had the time to create an environment of fear of the outside world. Now they are just refocussing the fear from the outside to the inside.
That fear is a link between people who share nothing in common, It unites, it makes you feel you belong, and you have suddenly something to defend, you and your neighboor alike, together, whereas before, your neighboor was the one you feared.
Obama must be a real threat to have redirected so much fear onto him. don't you think? But a threat to whom? ???

Secondly, while you express your fear of loosing your freedom, you are actually showing the limits of your trust in a good outcome for all. Those who want to control you, or already do, are taking notes. They see were you tick (gun control, black president with slavery in the background that makes him despise your/his flag...)

Your fear controls you, and you are the crazy ones that not one sane person would want on its lifeboat after the Titanic had sunk because you'd make everyone else crazy. Let's face it, you lost it and want to bring everyone else down.

Who you talking to, Pire? Because I don't think what you said really applies to Faith.

IOW, your words don't belong here since I believe Faith was very much against what Bush did (not sure about Ami) and I certainly was, and other beliefs you've applied here don't apply to either Faith or me. While there are people who deserve your words, the claims of what we "believe" are just a straw man when dealing with me and Faith. That is, we don't believe what you say we believe.

I predicted Romney's victory (if you are talking about me) on the basis of the Psychic Twins saying that Obama would be a one-term President. That's it.

And I meant for it to be funny.

Right. Thank you.

How hard is it for people to understand that just because we don't agree with what Obama is doing, that doesn't mean we agree with what Bush did?

How hard is that???

Especially when they do the same kinds of objectionable things.

Totally. Bush was a wimpy sell out. I think he loved America and did not want to "pay it back for his own resentments" but Bush had no cajones. He wanted to be liked too much and gave up his inner compass and sold out, where he should have been strong from an inner fire to follow his convictions. He was a joke, but Obama is so, so, so( times infinity) much worse.
