And, sorry for the caps, I copied it that way.

While this forum has devolved to include:

shrieking
crying
baying
lies [not new ]
spam

and the ever popular,

Flaming

One of the most important laws ever signed is going into effect.

Yes, that's right boys and girls http://www.hhs.gov/healthcare/rights/index.html

Party politics aside, and at this point that is what it is.
Republicans are frantic to try to find a way to stop "Obamacare" from starting. As the message about its benefits get out, as people sign up and start receiving those benefits, they're going to forget all about being scared of it and they're going to like it.

Take the states where it has already improved the standard of living for residents.

"Obamacare" or, as I like to call it- The Affordable Care Act, works where state officials want it to work.

Guess which party is funded by outside sources to NOT want it to work?

Prior to 2010 we had death panels, they were called Insurance Companies.

Flame away low information voters.

Hi node!

Yes, and isn't it ironic that those states that refuse to work it will have only Federally operated exchanges. Still considering moving to Vermont for awhile

Why would young healthy people on the bottom of this pyramid scheme like paying thousands for something they don't want?

When the pyramid base masses get the message that "required to purchase health insurance" really doesn't mean "required," then this monstrosity should tumble to the ground.

Do you know "Green eggs and ham" Randall? Ted Cruz w vreat irony used it in his showpiece yesterday. It is a seuss book about a character who spends the whole book refusing to try something because he has already decided he hates it. At the very end just to shut up the insistent encouragement of the other character, he tries the green eggs and ham and realizes he LIKES them.

Along with the irony that his grandstanding actually helped to kill the defund obamacare farce bill, and that ge cast his vote ensuring the death of that bill, this is...priceless.

Do YOU like green eggs and ham?

Song from Catalina to Obama
authored by --Ami Anne in the manner of Dr Seuss

I love your health care, food care and wealth care,

I love it all, even your death care

I fight all the baddies who call you a shill,

I fight to the death. I will. I will.

You can have my guns and money. Just take.

The people who don't like it make a BIG mistake

I try to tell them that but they push me away

I try to do it day after day.

They tell me the country is wasting away

I don't care as long as Obama can stay,

I get snarky even though I try to stay cool

Jwhop's scholarly posts make me look like a fool

Now, I bring up Green Eggs and Ham

I love you, Barry Hussein Obama

Catalina, I am

My bad they haven't finished the circus yet. I guess casting a vote calls for too much actual work, unlike prancing around exposing their empty suits.

Read too much into what? Green eggs? Pretty simple message really, that describes a lot of people's attitudes...

You do realize that govt shutdown won't do a thing to the already funded, mandatory spending status of tge ACA?

It's not about a shutdown to stop Obamacare. It's about defunding Obamacare to prevent the shutdown. Two very different things.

Actually, we both left but Randall neglected to unregister Node. Funny how some people who can't leave for two minutes seem to resent those who do...not meaning you, Faith, but what does it have to do with the topic?

What does your question have to do with the topic, either?

I mean, are you really interested in having me draw a connective line between Node's resignation and ObamaCare? Wouldn't that be only superficially about ObamaCare, at best, but more substantially about a strained attempt to comply with your unreasonable wish to put two unrelated matters under one umbrella?

19% of health care pros say Americans 'will die earlier' due to Obamacare
By PAUL BEDARD | SEPTEMBER 27, 2013

A unique new survey of health care professionals finds that 56 percent oppose Obamacare, with more than nine in 10 believing that there could be major negative impacts such as a drop in quality care. A shocking 19 percent believe Americans will die earlier.

In its 2013 Health Care Survey of 200 top health care professionals nationally, Coupa Software told Secrets that health care professionals are worried about a number of setbacks that the health law could result in. Asked to list the “negative impacts,” of which they could pick several, here's what Coupa found:

-- 53 percent, “Quality of health insurance policies will suffer.”

-- 51 percent, “Quality of care will go down.”

-- 49 percent, “The law is overly complicated.”

-- 37 percent, “The law still allows insurance companies to be the middleman.”

-- 32 percent, “Too complex for businesses.”

-- 19 percent, “Americans will die earlier.”

The company provides cloud-based finance applications for many of the nation’s health care providers and is especially focused on waste in the health care system. Their survey found that the health care professionals expect that many inefficiencies, such as unnecessary emergency room visits, will be fixed under Obamacare.

The survey displayed the split in the community over the law, with both positives and negatives being found. While 93 percent cited negative impacts, 74 percent also found positive outcomes from the law, the biggest being the availability of health insurance to those who don’t have it.

But that support for the law is offset by the overall view of the law by the health care community. The poll, which is being released Monday but was provided in advance to Secrets, found that 56 percent oppose most or all of the Affordable Care Act’s provisions. Only 6 percent favor all of the law, and 38 percent favor most of it.

Why does an unregistered member return to the forum with personal attacks against the people here, and why do you ambiguously (as always) seem to defend that behavior while inflating the significance of my asking a non-topic question?

Since when are "personal" questions like "didn't you unregister?" taboo?

If off topic questions are all somehow "wrong" and beneath the dignity of a mod, how did we ever come to know each other? Did we find out about each others' charts strictly by meeting up on threads about various placements or did we (gasp) just meander off topic occasionally and engage in casual chit chat?

Sorry to disappoint, Ami, no hostility involved in fact curiosity is a virtue if you want to learn, isn't it?

But agsin, what you think is your issue, not mine. Hope you get your jollies somewhere today.

And there you go. Apparently Faith also thinks your rudeness is fine when not directed at her.

I asked a simple question, Faith, go bristle ahead if you like. I'm not looking for a fight thx!

As to charts, when I correctly guessed your leo asc after you put me down for being a leo, you huffed and evaded as if I were trying to give you a vagi probe.

"What does it have to do with the topic?" wasn't a question so much as a little slap on the wrist telling me my question was inappropriate.

quote:

Then you shouldn't have given me that little slap on the wrist. Fact is, you are passive aggressive, usually, and the fact that you have thrown in several insults/accusations here while trying to make it look like I was the one escalating things is just typical.

The fact that you are calling me to task for how I am or am not dealing with Ami is as mystifying today as it was when I first started posting here.

If she's annoying you, as I'm sure she is, you have plenty of fire power to fend her off and don't need me to defend you.

I'm done, you can just flame on OR, better yet, practice what you preach and stay strictly on topic.
