But it not going to hurt O'Bomber, he's exempt from O'BomberCare. But, O'Bomber should have been the very first American to sign up for the O'Bomber Abomination since it's his legislation. It's not good enough for O'Bomber and the rest of the federal bureaucracy...BUT, IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU

And, it's not going to hurt the ass clowns in Congress who voted for O'BomberCare. They're getting a 71% government subsidy to pay for their health insurance.

Is there anyone here stupid enough to believe other Americans making $174,000 per year will receive a 71% subsidy to pay for O'BomberCare???

For the rest of America, bend over and grab your ankles!

All misrepresentation of facts.
ACA is currently for those who do not have insurance (individuals and small biz). That is approx 15 percent of the population today. If you are employed (private or public/government) and have an insurance, you can optionally but not required to browse and compare premiums your employer is paying.

Yes they wrote an amendment for themselves which some members are talking about reversing. Seems when it's their own pockets they were willing to ameliorate the Act.

It would be a great idea if Obama made a public show of signing up for it. But Dems are notoriously not the salesmen that the Republicans are. I think I will suggest it. Good thinking, jwhop

The law does say, however, that Congress et al have to get their insurance through the exchanges like everyone else.

I guess the prospect of losing their employer funded insurance upset them as much as everyone else. So their employer is now paying that percentage as most employers pay percentages. How criminal. They are being treated like other people!

So once again those high principles (suggesting they get the same treatment as everyone) are about nothing, since they already are.

Maybe no one here has ever had employer or union sponsored group care. The employer/union pays a hefty percentage to make it more reasonable for the employees. Just like the US Gov paying 70% of Congress' EXCHANGE based plans.

"ACA is currently for those who do not have insurance (individuals and small biz). That is approx 15 percent of the population today."...PhoenixRising

Whassa matter Phoenix are your math skills rusty?

Are you forgetting about all those part time jobs created by O'Bomber, jobs with no insurance?

Are you forgetting about the 22 million unemployed in America...who want a job or a full time job but can't find one in the O'Bomber economy?

Are you forgetting about all those people who are employed but lost their employer based insurance and are now at the mercy of the "exchanges"?

Would you like to see a list of businesses which have dropped their employee insurance because of the cost of O'BomberCare?

Oh, and don't even attempt to tell me that those with private..or employer based insurance don't have to meet the requirements of O'BomberCare. Putting all that O'BomberCare crap in insurance policies is skyrocketing insurance premiums...on the exchanges and in the private insurance markets.

Maybe in florida, but what else is new? Florida was too highminded to take gov money and set up state exchsnges so until people have signed up for the Fed exchanges its insurance companies are making hay.

While in states who have steamed ahead, all insurance companies are looking @ how they can be more competitive.

Well, this is an obvious lie since all over America hardly anyone can even get on the healthcare.gov site to find out what their premiums will be. Typical for O'Bomber Kool-Aid drinkers.

One of the key parts of the Affordable Care Act—an online marketplace where people can compare and shop for health insurance– went online this week. So, far Floridians and others around the country have been signing up in droves. http://fcir.org/2013/10/04/obamacare-exchanges-go-online-in-florida-are-met-wit h-strong-demand/

Oh, thanks for the map but do you have one in braille?

Bend over America and grab your ankles. This is going to hurt! Nice going Marxist Messiah..and your Socialist buds in Congress who wrote themselves a 71% federal subsidy to pay for their own health insurance.

Let's end the O'Bomber Abomination now. It's not working and won't help the very people lying demoscats said they wanted to help.

When two-thirds of the poor blacks and single mothers and more than half of the low-wage workers who do not have insurance still won't have health insurance because they are ineligible for subsidies and can't afford O'BomberCare premiums...then, exactly why are we trashcanning the best health care delivery system in the world in favor of the O'Bomber Abomination?

O'BomberCare was never about helping the poor get health insurance..notice, I said health insurance, not health care.

O'BomberCare was always about having the federal government take over 17% of the total US economy...which is the health care part of the US economy. Straight Marxist Socialist doctrine.

Obamacare Facebook Erupts with Citizen Sticker Shock

On Thursday, the government's official Obamacare Facebook page was riddled with people expressing sticker shock over the government's high cost premiums after struggling for hours to wade through the technical failures vexing Obamacare exchanges all across the country.

"I am so disappointed," wrote one woman. "These prices are outrageous and there are huge deductibles. No one can afford this!" The comment received 169 "likes."

"There is NO WAY I can afford it," said one commenter after using the Kaiser Subsidy Calculator. "Heck right now I couldn't afford an extra 10$ [sic] a month...and oh apparently I make to [sic] much at 8.55/hour to get subsidies."

Another person shared a link found on the federal government's main Obamacare page listing premium estimates for small business employers:

The information is not very complete as I don't see anything about deductible or other detailed info, but it does given an actual price as to the "Premium." It is VERY SCARY!! For example, my insurance plan right now for my spouse and I costs $545 a month with 100% coverage after my $2500 deductible. We are both 32 years old. When I looked at this site for 80% coverage it says it will be $954.78 a month!!!! So compare my old Plan: 100% coverage for $545 a month To New Plan: 80% Coverage for $945 a month. This is only only an estimate but it is VERY Scary for me to see this kind of increase in rates and reduction in benefits!

A single mother of two said she is in school and working full-time while living "75% below the poverty level." She said she was shocked to learn she did not qualify for a healthcare subsidy. "Are you F'ing kidding me????" she wrote on the government's Obamacare Facebook page. "Where the HELL am I supposed to get $3,000 more a year to pay for this 'bronze' health insurance plan!?!??? And I DO NOT EVEN WANT INSURANCE to begin with!! This is frightening," she wrote.

Amid scores of comments expressing frustration with technical failures, one woman said she is "just amazed you could even get to the point of seeing pricing" and that she had been trying to access the system for three days to no avail.

Obamacare sticker shock will not affect millions of low-income Americans; a New York Times analysis published on Wednesday found that Obamacare "will leave out two-thirds of the poor blacks and single mothers and more than half of the low-wage workers who do not have insurance, the very kinds of people that the program was intended to help."

Obamacare will cost taxpayers an estimated $2.6 trillion over the next 10 years.

It must still be screwed up. I clicked on your link and didn't go anywhere.

edit:

Oh, I see you corrected your link error.

Hmmm, did you try to navigate on the site?
Did you get to the page where you can see what your premium and deductible for the O'Bomber Abomination is going to be?
Was it a fun and happy experience for you?

Just because the opening page at healthcare.gov comes up, that doesn't mean the site is working fine.

Lots of people have gotten to the opening page only to hit a roadblock when they attempted to navigate to other pages...like the data input page and the premium page.

Let break out the 105mm Howitzer and depleted uranium shells and see if we can punch some holes in brick wall ignorance.

In other words you haven't bothered to try it. Breitbart knoweth all IKR

Gotta hand it to you jwhop, you are consistent. Like a broken record. You can always be trusted to revert to macho militaristic fantasies about getting rid of those who disagree with your worldview.

Well, I didn't think a pop-gun had sufficient power to punch a hole in the brick wall of ignorance.

And, who said anything about wanting to get rid of you or the other usual suspects and O'Bomber Kool-Aid drinkers?

I want you all to stick around and keep talking so rational people can see how far extreme left you are.

In other words you haven't bothered trying the site yourself.

Don't know why you are talking about popguns. Depleted uranium and 105mm howitzers? Maybe that is your idea of popguns but the military call them weapons, depleted uranium being one of the dirtier resources available.

But not being a weapons expert maybe I am missing some little in-joke you think makes me look stupid. Pat yourself on the back if you like.

Thank you Ami.

"In other words you haven't bothered trying the site yourself."..Catalina/katatonic

Now why in the hell would I want to go on that site, create an account, give them personal information that's none of their damned business, fiddle fart around on O'Bomber's Abomination just to waste my time. I don't want O'Bomber's Abomination, will never apply for it and wouldn't use it if it was free. O'Bomber can stuff O'BomberCare where the sun don't shine.

"Don't know why you are talking about popguns. Depleted uranium and 105mm howitzers"...Catalina/katatonic

Because that's what it would take to break through the brick wall of ignorance displayed by the usual suspects and O'Bomber Kool-Aid drinkers.

There is also a LEARN button on the front page of that site. I didn't have to use anything "personal" to LEARN.

Basically, jwhop, if you want to diss something to the extent you've been doing, being too lazy to find out if your hearsay opinion is correct just shows you don't even care that you don't know what you're talking about.

You can't even be bothered to find out what happens when you go there...kind of like complaining about the ACA and then bragging about how you haven't read it.

And no interest in making your popgun remark comptehensible either.

Kind of like the "stupid girl" in Jagger's lyric who "b1tches bout things that she's never seen"...
