Top 5 reasons Democrats are becoming extinct
Exclusive: Gina Loudon proves entire party is on 'collision course with failure'

Can we just start with the definition of insanity once again, and pretend like the leftist establishment is educable?

While level-headed souls grasp for answers to the real threat of Islamic terror, and illegal immigrant crime against American citizens, survey the pink-hat brigade. Its greatest concern? Global warming. Oh, pardon me. It’s “climate change” now, because the science disproved the global-warming theory, so they needed to look elsewhere.

In 2006, Al Gore stood before his Sundance audience and predicted we would all be dead from global warming by 2016. Remember?

While their “Chicken Little” politics haven’t changed, the vigor with which they perpetuate lies has become much more divisive, utilitarian and vitriolic. They were right about one thing: Global warming might lead to extinction … of the Democratic Party.

Here are the Top 5 reasons the Democrats are becoming extinct:

•The obdurate left just finished running yet another monolithic Clinton. America rejected that dynasty and doesn’t want to see Chelsea being pedestaled for a political position.

•They won’t stop dividing. Race, gender, religion, pick your poison. They divide. That’s what they do best while screaming that conservatives “create division.”

•They don’t represent most of Middle America in any way with their violent public tantrums and rages. We have seen tea parties and Trump rallies, and we have seen their resistance and anti-Trump hatred and violence. Americans are smarter than that.

•Middle America cannot relate to their genital obsession. The pink hats were a horrid embarrassment. Picture the blue-dog Democrat farmer in rural Missouri. I know, humorous visual, but now you know the irony of their obsession.

•No one wants to be a victim or be told to expect less from their government, or themselves. Yet these are the constant themes of the Democrat elite in the Beltway. That is not the party of Kennedy or Truman.

As much as the “resistance” movement would like to be credited with the potency of the tea party eight years ago, and their ability to make true change to elect the next president, there is one key thing missing: introspection.

The real tea party was less about bashing Obama (though their birth came out of his policy, to be sure). The tea party (and I am a founding member) was about taking a critical look at our own party and demanding more.

This is why the Democrats are on a collision course with failure. They and, so far, their “movement,” utterly refuse to look in the mirror.

I have always had a theory that those with the most fragile egos become the most offended at criticism. This is no secret. The kid who throws the first punch is the one who can’t endure the fact that someone would offend his ego. The guy who beats his wife does it out of insecurity. The girl who gossips and name calls does so out of jealousy. We know it makes all of them look small, and it says more about them than it does their targets. But Democrats in the Beltway don’t seem to understand this truth.

Self-confidence must be strong for people to look in the mirror and ask, “How can I be better?”

The Democrats owe it to their voters to do a post-mortem introspection. Rank-and-file Democrats across Middle America are waiting to hear what their party understands they are doing wrong, and how they can do it better. Instead, they are getting more Clinton, more panjandrum, more division and more victimhood. Who would want that?

The Democratic Party leaders at this moment have seriously fragile egos, to their own detriment. The result is a rat wheel of repetition – the same message, same tactics, same failed policies that lost the 2016 election for them.

How can their party gain ground when they try the same, tired, alienating bully tactics again and again to get votes? There is no expansion in stagnation or in name-calling. There is no credibility in a party that only ever criticizes and says no. There is no dignity in division. And when you demand that all of your members conform to your narrative without exception – while screaming “fascist!” at the other party – you lose credibility fast!

I spoke about the demise of the Democrats on “Fox and Friends” this week:

The last couple of weeks, Chelsea Clinton has been doing some pernicious tweeting about climate change, division among genders and more Hillary blandishment. She may be the ultimate nail in the coffin of the Democrat elite.

It might take something like that for the Democratic Party to get out of the way of their voters so they have representation again. They may have been right about climate change after all: It may cause the extinction of the very creator and beneficiary of the disproven theory. The Democratic Party may, indeed, be extinct forever

Are the Trump Haters Creating 1968 All Over Again?
Patricia McCarthy

The professional left is busy resisting all things Trump. They are collecting millions of dollars, having meetings to plot their revenge for his victory over Hillary Clinton. Their hardcore activists are busy organizing, hiring and training protesters, having signs printed, and in some cases, buying all black outfits, including masks. They send their thugs to pro-Trump events to be purposefully violent knowing that anti-Trump violence will make the news. Their belief is that by creating chaos anywhere they can, their campaign against Trump will take root and his supporters will desert him and follow them.

In their dreams!

"Imagine a single drop of water: that's the protest. Now put that drop of water into a bucket: that's the protest movement. Now drop that bucket into Lake Michigan: that's Reality." Nathan Hill, The Nix

The above excerpt from Nathan Hill's book is from a chapter on the protests that turned the Democratic National Convention of 1968 in Chicago into what the protesters called their "revolution." Students chanting "Ho, Ho, Ho Chi Min" and "Kill the pigs" marched in the streets. The police and the National Guard were on hand.

Reading about it now is to see that we are reliving those days; only the names of protesters have changed. What was then called the National Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam, Tom Hayden's Students for a Democratic Society, and the Youth International Party (Yippies), Women Strike for Peace, are now called Occupy Wall Street and Black Lives Matter, Planned Parenthood, ACLU, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and Antifa.

The enormous difference between then and now? The police in Chicago were overly zealous in their efforts to control the crowds. They were scared. The calculated rumor mill perpetrated by the activists had made so many different kinds of threats that law enforcement was prepared for all manner of violence. The students enjoyed rumor-spreading but had no intention or means to employ such brutality; mayhem, yes. Terrorism, no. But getting the police to overreact was part of the plan. So along with the National Guard, law enforcement outnumbered the protesters by far. And many among the police were vicious with permission. Even Dan Rather was roughed up! Mayor Daley was proud of himself. He had fomented much of the violence and knocked it down hard.

Today our police, National Guard and our military in general are constrained by rules the police and guardsmen of 1968 could not have imagined. The pendulum has swung very far from 1968. The police today figuratively have their hands tied behind their backs, their use of defensive weapons constrained to the point that they are sitting ducks, and their ability to enforce both state and federal law restricted to the point of absurdity. Almost any act of defense of the citizenry is subject to investigation if an official complaint is made by a perpetrator, a family member or witness wielding a cellphone. And that complaint, no matter how ridiculous, carries the day.

But not everything is so different from 1968. Those protests, all that violence displayed on television, despite the small numbers of Americans they represented, ensured Nixon's reelection. The folks in flyover country, then as now, were repulsed by the behavior of what seemed like, thanks to television, tens of thousands of young people. The students then opposed the war because they opposed the draft. They had no idea of the barbarism of communism; they embraced the counter culture because it was the hip thing to do. Many of them were manipulated into the "movement" just as so many young people today have been maneuvered into anti-Trumpism without actually knowing anything about him.

Today mind-numbed snowflakes on college campuses who, for calculated reasons, have not been taught to think for themselves before they arrive at university, oppose Trump out of sheer ignorance. They read a headline on a blog and believe it, no matter how ludicrous; Trump's a bigot," Trump's a racist, Trump's Hitler, an anti-Semite. There is not an iota of evidence to support any of those allegations. They believe what fits with their carefully crafted-by-the-left image of him and discard any facts that do not align with that image.

It appears that nearly fifty years of leftist control of higher education has done its intended damage; a majority of young students have no ability to think critically and so are easily indoctrinated by Marxist professors. They are unable to discern the difference between actual knowledge and the nonsense that is the tyranny of political correctness with regard to all things race, class, and gender. Anti-Trumpism has taken over college campuses across the nation. It has infected city councils, boards of education, the state assemblies of blue states like California. As always, the Democrats in Congress are of one collective mind: resist, foil and destroy Trump. They do not care about the country. Led by the oleaginous Chuck Schumer, they have set out to submarine the Trump administration no matter the cost to the American people.

We are a conservative nation, the country of our Founders. That is why Nixon won in 1968 and why Trump won now. It's 1968 all over again. Only the proliferation of media has changed the rules of the game. There were only three networks then. Today those networks have no credibility. They are arms of the Democratic Party and everyone knows that. They can pump up the "resistance" all they want. The people who voted against their Marxist agenda know better. Common sense reigns. These oppositional Democrats and their assembled groups of activists are the drop of water in the bucket, in the lake.

Nothing printed in the Nation rag is to be believed.

However, I know why leftists abhor American Thinker. There's those 2 words which set leftists teeth on edge:

American
Thinker

You leftists may get rid of conservatives anyway. Leftist antics are so ridiculous, you may cause us to laugh ourselves to death.

Here's a clinically insane leftist Senator. He's ready for a padded room and restraints.

Dems Demand Investigation Over Mnuchin’s ‘Lego Batman’ Joke
Emily Zanotti
March 28, 2017

While they may be failing to whip 60 votes for a filibuster on SCOTUS nominee Neil Gorsuch, struggling to craft a message, and left hanging on the Russia investigation, Democrats in Congress are at least going to nail down one Trump administration official for his comments about the LEGO Batman Movie.

Last week, Hollywood-executive-turned-Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin gave a short interview to Axios, where he refused to provide suggestions on which movies Americans should see because his advice could be construed as improper. He then went on to joke that families should consider an outing to see LEGO Batman, a movie he produced.

“I’m not allowed to promote anything that I’m involved in. So I just want to have the legal disclosure, you’ve asked me the question, and I am not promoting any product,” Mnuchin said on Friday. “But you should send all your kids to Lego Batman.”

Everyone was left laughing. Everyone, that is, execept Democratic Senator Ron Wyden.

Furious that Mnuchin would even dare to joke about his Hollywood connections in this terrifying, Trumpian climate of corruption, Wyden went immediately to the Office of Government Ethics, begging the director to launch a full investigation into whether Mnuchin was engaging in a conflict of interest with his off-the-cuff reference.
“I am concerned that Sec. Mnuchin’s comments, may be seen to have a predictable effect on the financial interests” of RatPac-Dune,” Wyden said in a letter to the OGE.

RatPac-Dune Entertainment Holdings LLC is Mnuchin’s former production company with filmmaker Brett Rattner and a handful of other media moguls. The studio has produced and financed a number of recent blockbusters, including The LEGO Movie, LEGO Batman, and Mad Max: Fury Road.

But Mnuchin divested himself of his share of RatPac Dune before taking up the mantle at Treasury, and signed an ethics agreement stating he would not actively promote any of RatPac’s products as a member of the Administration.

When asked about Wyden’s dire concerns about his joke, Mnuchin’s office released a statement, essentially saying that Ron Wyden needs to lighten up.

“As his statement reflects, the Secretary clearly recognized that he generally may not promote private interests and specifically gave the legal disclosure that he was not promoting a movie, but answering a question he was asked directly,” Mnuchin’s statement read.

New Dem chair Perez seeks massive restructuring of the party
Rick Moran

Yes, this is exactly like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Democratic Party Chairman Tom Perez has asked all headquarters employees of the DNC to submit their resignations as party leadership looks to overhauil their staff and restructure the organization.

The move demonstrates just how clueless Democrats are. Their problems are not with the staff or the party organization. Theirs is a problem of perception - that they have no new ideas and lack an ability to communicate with ordinary voters. Those ideas that they are promoting are toxic to voters - illegal immigration, transgender issues, nationalized health care, pro-abortion, and job killing climate change policies.

The staffing and structural changes they come up with will not address those fundamental flaws.

NBCNews:

"This is longstanding precedent at the DNC and has happened during multiple Chair transitions," said DNC spokeswoman Xochitl Hinojosa. "The process was started before the election of the new Chair. From the beginning, Tom has been adamant that we structure the DNC for future campaigns. Current and future DNC staff will be integral to that effort. Over the last few months, the DNC staff has done incredible work under immense pressure to hold Trump accountable."

Perez is the party's third leader in the past year, which was one of its most difficult on record.

It began with accusations that the DNC favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary, continued with the wrenching exposure of hacked emails and the abrupt resignation of former chair, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and concluded with the shocking defeat of its presidential nominee and a divisive race for the new party chairman.

The grueling experience, which followed years in which many Democrats felt the Obama White House ignored the party organization, has left the DNC with a crisis of confidence and competence.

Now Perez, who spent most of his career in government and not politics, needs to rebuild the beleaguered party, take on President Donald Trump, tap into a unique moment of progressive activism across the country, and replenish the party's coffers.

"I wouldn't wish that on anybody," California Gov. Jerry Brown told Chuck Todd on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday. "I was the Democratic Party chairman in California — it's a miserable job. So, Tom, too bad."

Perez has spent his first weeks on the job in "active listening mode," hearing from Democrats in Washington and in small group meetings across the country before making any big moves.

"What we're trying to do is culture change," he told NBC News between stops of a listening tour in Michigan on Friday. "We're repairing a plane at 20,000 feet. You can't land the plane, shut it down, and close it until further notice."

What good is changing the "culture" when the people who are part of that culture are so wildly unpopular?

John Hinderaker:

That is the great unspoken fact of American politics. Conservatives are hard on the Republican Party–we often denounce our party’s leaders as inept, or worse. But in fact, the Republican Party is riding a wave of historic success. It is the Democrats who are sliding downhill toward oblivion, if present trends continue. Has any major political party in any country ever had such an unsympathetic set of leaders as Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton? Not that I know of.

Hence the “embattled” status of the Democratic National Committee. It will take a lot more than a few staff changes to alter the fortunes of the Democratic Party, but NBC offers no evidence that any major rethinking is in progress.

Not only are the leaders of the Democratic party unpopular, they are nearly all septugenarians. Aging leaders who have been pushing the same far left policies for decades are not about to embrace the kinds of reforms necessary to make the Democrats competitive in large swaths of the American heartland.

And the Bernie Sanders phenomenon is only driving the party further away from the mainstream. The Democrats appear ready to double down on pushing far left issues to the fore with not only Sanders in the driver's seat, but party co-chair Rep. Keith Ellison as navigator.

NBCNews:

Progressives also criticized the transition committee’s initial makeup, leading the DNC to add several more members from the left’s ranks.

Earlier this month, Perez held a meeting to discuss the issue with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sanders, both of whom supported Rep. Keith Ellison in the DNC chair race.

Schumer, pointing to Ellison and Sanders, told Perez, “If he’s happy, and if he’s happy, then I’m happy,” according to two sources.

Perez has included Ellison in many of the DNC’s public events so far, but the party’s charter makes no provision for a deputy chair, so Ellison does not have vote on the DNC. That could be fixed by naming the Minnesota congressman to one of the 75 slots the chairman gets to appoint to the national committee.

Ellison’s political director has also been helping to oversee staffing decisions in some key departments in the DNC, according to several sources.

Great. Dems are listening carefully to a radical leftist Muslim congressman to return them to mainstream American values. Good luck with that.

The Democrats can search from here to doomsday and not admit to themselves why they lost to Donald Trump. At bottom, they nominated the worst candidate their party had ever fielded - unpopular, mistrusted, dishonest, and most importantly, had absolutely nothing to say to the American people. She was going to get elected because her name was "Clinton" and for no other reason. When that didn't work out, they began this current round of soul searching.

But until they embrace the real reasons for their defeat and continued decline, the American voter will ignore them.

First, I didn't say that.
Second, that was the very least of what the article stated.

On the subject of democrat extinction exercises, there's the psychotic, Michael Moore.

Liberal propagandist Michael Moore said Monday afternoon on Twitter that President Donald Trump will cause the “extinction of human life on earth.”

“Historians in the near future will mark today, March 28, 2017, as the day the extinction of human life on earth began, thanks 2 Donald Trump,” Moore tweeted.

Moore was angry Trump repealed a host of Obama-era job killing regulations.

“Trump has signed orders killing all of Obama’s climate change regulations. The EPA is prohibited henceforth from focusing on climate change,” Moore said in a follow-up tweet.

It’s incredible we somehow managed to survive before these regulations were put in place a few years ago.

Right-wingers mocked Moore’s stupid comments on Twitter:

And, another nut spouting nonsense and drivel. More nuts per cubic foot than any other party!

John Podesta: Donald Trump an ‘Existential Threat to the Entire Planet’
Charlie Spiering
29 Mar 2017

Former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta believes that Donald Trump has doomed the entire planet.

“Make no mistake, the Trump administration’s rampage against the environment presents an existential threat to the entire planet,” Podesta wrote in the Washington Post on Wednesday.

The former failed campaign manager, a passionate warrior for global warming, appeared distraught after Trump signed an executive order to ratchet back the Obama-era environmental regulations that choked businesses and job growth.

Podesta appears unwilling to let go of the fact that Clinton lost the election, again citing the popular vote in 2016 as a reason to fight Trump’s agenda........
