Stressed and agitated about all the “fake news” about Russia and his son’s legal predicament, not to mention the ongoing train-wreck of his legislative agenda, Donald Trump decided to spend the weekend watching and tweeting about the U.S. Women’s Open tournament at his New Jersey golf club. It had to make him feel a little better, since the profits from these golf properties go into his own pocket.

A POTUS ~who would normally be assumed to be too busy to make personal appearances for publicity at his profit-making businesses. Um
yes.

Virtually Every week

quote:
How many times has Trump played golf as President of the United States? Since taking office on Jan. 20, 2017, Mr. Trump has reportedly been on the grounds of his golf courses 39 times since becoming President, and that's as of July 15. He previously was on pace to visit his golf clubs more than 650 times in an eight-year presidency. As of July 15, he's currently on track to play 480 rounds in office over eight years, assuming he wins re-election and completes both terms.

http://thegolfnewsnet.com/golfnewsnetteam/2017/07/15/h ow-many-times-president-donald-trump-played-golf-in-office-103836/

quote:
We don't know if Trump has played golf every time he shows up to one of his clubs. That's because the Trump Administration has gone out of its way to bar the White House press pool from shadowing President Trump when he goes to his golf clubs. That means Trump could be playing golf, or he could be hitting golf balls on the range, or he could be twiddling his thumbs. We don't know, and the Trump Administration won't say.

quote:
The frequency with which Trump plays golf isn't really an issue -- just as it wasn't for former President Barack Obama. The presidency is an overwhelmingly difficult job, and the office-holder is certainly entitled to a handful of hours every week to take a load off. However, Trump was particularly critical of how many rounds President Barack Obama played in office, and so now he looks somewhat hypocritical in retrospect.

Trump is at a 36 percent approval rating, which is the lowest rating of any president at this point in his presidency since Harry Truman.

He is down six points from his 100-day mark~ his disapproval rating is at 58 percent, with 48 percent “strongly disapproving” levels never reached by Bill Clinton or Obama and only reached in George W. Bush’s second term. He can tweet that it’s not bad all he wants, but it’s bad.

Trump is not making much progress on his goals, which is probably a relief to most peeps, particularly when it comes to health care. That GOP bill continues to be about as popular as E. coli:

Fake polls. Just like the polls that predicted a landslide win by Hillary. His base loves him and would still vote for him if the election were held today. As you will find out in 2020.

Not all of his base still love him, and they've ****** so many people off, he will most likely lose in a landslide.

Keep dreaming! Reagan's popularity was at an all-time low in 1982, and in 1984, he won 49 states.

So you admit rump's popularity is at an all-time low?

You can keep dreaming. I think some people made the mistake of not voting last year, because they thought Hillary had it, no matter what. They won't make that mistake next time.

HahahahaHA

All those lying pollsters had to do to get that poll result was oversample democrats by 12%. It's the same old crap...like the crap from the presidential polls which oversampled democrats up to a 13% oversample.
BTW, Trump Won!

These idiots will never learn their lesson that the only people paying the slightest attention to their nonsense are the leftist lunatics of their choir.

Yet Again: About These Insufferable ABC/WaPo Media Polls…
July 16, 2017
sundance

CTH made a statement last year, and repeated again earlier this year: against the backdrop of mountains of evidence showcasing the absolute verifiable manipulative intention of media polling it provides no value to continually deconstruct their ideological efforts.

Seriously, any media outfit that does not present raw data, honest transparency, and accurate methodology should just be ignored. Accept the intents and purposes of the construct the same way you would accept the opinion punditry of the hosts presenting it.

[b]Today’s Washington Post / ABC poll is no different. Actually it’s yet another prime example of a case study in creative narrative engineering and complete “gaslighting” to advance a political and ideological agenda. PERIOD.

Here’s the basis of their own methodology. That is – who they say they polled to generate what they’re selling:

Here’s the actual national party affiliation as reported by state election registrars and validated by independent confirmation of Gallup. As of June 2017:

Republicans 26%, Independents 42%, Democrats 30%. (verify here) http://www.gallup.com/poll/15370/Party-Affiliation.aspx

The process of oversampling the group that will give media pollsters the outcome desired is as old as the history of polling itself.......

quote:

The U.S. Secret Service requested $60 million in additional funding for the next year, offering the most precise estimate yet of the escalating costs for travel and protection resulting from the unusually complicated lifestyle of the Trump family, according to internal agency documents reviewed by The Washington Post.

Nearly half of the additional money, $26.8 million, would pay to protect President Trump’s family and private home in New York’s Trump Tower, the documents show, while $33 million would be spent on travel costs incurred by “the president, vice president and other visiting heads of state.”

The documents, part of the Secret Service’s request for the fiscal 2018 budget, reflect the costly surprise facing Secret Service agents tasked with guarding the president’s large and far-flung family, accommodating their ambitious travel schedules and fortifying the three-floor Manhattan penthouse where first lady Melania Trump and son Barron live.

Trump has spent most of his weekends since the inauguration at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, and his sons have traveled the world to promote Trump properties with Secret Service agents in tow.

"The documents reviewed by The Post did not show how the new budget requests compare with the funding needs for past presidents, and such figures are not public information. The Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security, which oversees the agency, declined to provide cost breakdowns and have said in the past that such figures are confidential, citing security concerns."

Time now for you to admit you don't know that security for President Trump is costing more than it cost for other Presidents. The article you posted tells the story and it's not the story you're trying to push.

Pure partisan malarkey!

Don't look now, but you can't get where you're trying to go...by what I said.

Your own article refutes what you said. The Washington Compost doesn't know how much is spent on security for the President and they don't know how much was spent on security for The Marxist Messiah...and neither do you!

The Secret Service story was already debunked as fake news. The new budget was about to be approved for them.

I don't think Trump won anything, Hillary Clinton and what she represent lost. Period.

Hopefully, people will consider the power of their vote (or no vote) like the Trump supporters already do.

Politician like Trump win because they ostensibly market for people's anger. It works because people, who are becoming more knowledgeable due to mass media and instant interctivity due to internet, have an opinion and want improvement. But they/we grow tired of politicians who explain how we should fix the problems and where and why the exist, but in the end do not change the situation.
No matter how well wishing, fair, equal-righter, gay friendly, openminded and moralist they may want to be seen, they always vome up with a detailled and reasonned understanding of the problems and the solutions needed.... and then they get elected.... and they do not fix the problem!

What was Sanders doing, except not like Trump, i.e. appealling to the lowest fears of the population but to the good heart and sacrificial part of the human heart ? They both argued that true fixing of the PRoblems should come from a desire to fix them, not from a good understanding of the solutions, that was in fact just a smoke screen to say, ... "sorry, but we are working on it but it will take time, in the meantime, please, pay taxes"

There lies the chance for Trump to be reelected. If enough people are still angry. and they will still be, he is working on it. But a frontal confrontation is fruitless, what is needed is an understanding of the people's DESIRE to have their say, to express their anger at the problems not being fixed although everyone seems to be able to analyze them.
If TRUE DESIRE TO CHANGE living conditions of the population is shown, and perhaps more than just being shown but being "expected", being looked for with ardent conviction, with need, then people will turn their back on this "MORON".

But people need to know change is on it way.

I think Trump's opponent should work on promoting their ideas, familiarizing the population with their propositions, therefore they will know what to expect in the event of a future election, otherwise, the people (a majority) may prefer to remain with what they already know, and what already showed it has no teeth to bite. The only problem, but that is a side note, is that abroad, it is also obvious that the president has no teeth, no authority. Just military power to damage forever the prestige of his country.

...respectfully, from the west coast... of Europe.

Thx, pire😗

FB is down today for a lot of people. It's amazing How one of one's first thoughts is.. deliberate blackout to keep people in the dark? .. about what?

The atmosphere of mistrust of the govt hasn't diminished but accelerated under DT... One of the last things i read last night was about censorship.. theTrumpettes don't see the demonizing and dismissing of the press in that line but the rest of us see it as the early warming stage of boiling the water in which we frogs sit...

Anyone else here having FB issues?
